Xbox question

I was wondering if i get fake X-box 360 games from Saudi Arabia and buy an X-box 360 in USA will the games work or will there be that region problem thing

Well. If they are fake XBOX games I don't think they'll work, but if they are generic versions of the games they should work.

There souldn't be a region problem, but if they're fake games then they'd most likely be burnt ones yes? And I don't know about Xbox, but for the Playstation you need a mod chip in it to play burnt games..

Yes but with firmware updates on both 360 and PS3 you will be banned from the online service as soon as you connect to the update.

To answer the original question no the 360 and Wii are not region free so if its a Saudi game (I belive Region 2 PAL) it will not work in a Region 1 NTSC 360. BUT with a chip yes you can play region free game on the 360. Just don't expect to have live I know people who buy the cheaper 360s and have 2 (one modded and one for online play)

I'd be more worried about the Xbox not working, rather than games.

But seriously, you may need a chip or an emulator or something. Your best bet is to find someone who already does this or has done it and consult them.

But it can be done. My friend Ryan has an emulator on his XBox...ah, nothing like MarioKart 64. lawl!

If the Xbox is NTSC and the games are NTSC, or the xbox is PAL and the games are PAL then yes you are sweet.

That is incorrect BC if its a fake it won't work unless you somehow burn it in the 360 format and not an .ISO (like bootleg copies are because we don't have a way to encrypt 360 games). The 360 has to be modded to boot the .ISO on the DVD (or launch it atleast). By the way all true mods (unless a softmod has came out recently) DO INFACT BAN YOU FROM LIVE UNTIL 2999

Just think of it. Us humans have been known to live up to past 100 yrs, imagine in a couple of years we could live up to a 1000. Haha at the ban period.
