What nerve! Not allowing Stephen Colbert to run for President of the
U.S.

It's disgusting!

The nerve of those SC Demos to claim Stephen Colbert is a comedian and
has no place in national politics.
<
They claim running the government is SERIOUS BUSINESS.
<
But look at all the comedic buffons already in the White House or most
of those allowed to be in the race. They promise everything but, as
our next President, they'll deliver nothing but more of the same. Of
course, it'll be after he or she crawls in bed with the corporate
executives.
<
This is AMERICA and a man's occupation should have nothing whatsoever
to do with how well he'd run the country.
<
There is a helluva comedian in the Oval Office right now. And I'm sure
Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly -- to mention just two of this
nation's greatest comedians -- might even do as fine a job as Stephen
Colbert would.

But I doubt it.

I say let's make Stephen Colbert our write-in independent candidate of
2008. He's already got my vote and nbow needs nonly about 40 million
more.

He used to be a lot funnier. Colbert's schtick now consists of a
leftwinger pretending to be a rightwinger by being a self-absorbed,
opinionated kneejerk asshole.

Obviously he should not run for president. He should wait for Hillary to
invite him to run as her VP.
