Favorite NFL Team: Atlanta Falcons

Favorite MLB Team: Atlanta Braves (If I weren't, I'd be a St. Louis fan! Albert Pujols is god-prodigy!)

Favorite NBA Team: Atlanta Hawks, however its a love/hate kind of relationship. And I don't rush home to see a game either.

Favorite NCAA Football Team: Georgia Bulldogs (Yet, I pull for any SEC team when playing out of conference with the exception of Tennessee.)

Favorite NCAA Basketball Team: I don't know. I'm a fan of the game, really, and more or less root for the underdogs during March Madness.

Favorite NHL Team: Atlanta Thrashers (I have a love/hate relationship with hockey. I never rush home to make the start of a game.)

NASCAR: I hate it. No... I loathe it.

I love to watch all sports but I have few 'favorite' teams these days. 20 years ago when you had a sports team it was made up of the same players year after year, they were like a family you were connected to.....these days in professional sports you can be cheering on a guy one week and booing him on the other team the next week, to me they have ruined a lot of teams with this.

I love football, the Pats winning so many games with usually one of the lowest salary caps is impressive, I was stationed in Colorado so you can't live there without catching Bronco fever, the mile high stadium is always sold out every season no matter how their playing.

But I have mostly turned to college sports because there you can still find love of the game, passion of the "TEAM" and a drive to perform for each other. And of course my Alma Mater, the University of Florida, is my favorite team.

If they hold together, Florida will be the college football team to beat this year, we lost few starters and have Tim Tebow leading the pack again, it should be an interesting season for us to say the least ;)

I like the Chiefs chances with Cassel and the Texans chances with a health Schaub!

College Football/ basketball: Missouri Tigers

How do you think Mizzou will do without Chase Daniel? And what do you think of the Redskins drafting Daniel? Do you think he will get the back up position over Hawaii's former QB Colt Brennan?

So.............. many questions.

I hate Florida, except when they play Tennessee (and Auburn).

Without Percy Harvins to throw to, who does Florida have to make big plays other than Tebow?

Don't really watch sports anymore, but I prefer the White Sox over the Cubs, even though I live on the North Side of the city (and this was even before the Sox won the World Series in '05, thank you very much!)

I used to love the Bulls when Michael, Scottie, BJ, etc. played in the 90's. And I still root for Chicago teams when they play other cities - Chicago Fire, Wolves, Blackhawks, Bears, etc.

Oh, I was a fair weather fan of the Bulls when that crew was on board, too! In fact, I had a poster of Michael "Air" Jordan and it bugged my dad that instead of unicorns, rainbows and rock stars I had a picture of a black guy on my wall....lol.

Harvins was a great player, but he had been out a couple key games last season with injuries and we adapted well in short notice, Urban Meyer has had all the off season to train other players and design new plays to adjust the entire program instead of just making do with a short term loss.

Being as we lost so few starters, I do not think we will have many problems and Tebow will be even more experienced this season and that should give us a few more points on the board that normally would not be there with a less experienced QB.

Put simply, Tim is a leader, his team actually almost worships him and will do more for him than they normally would be able to do. You know as well as I do the seperation between talent from man to man and team to team is sometimes very small and it is the motivation and drive that wins the game, not any one player on the field.

Meyer's program is built around Tim Tebow and others are trained to follow.

That's one thing I have always admired about Urban Meyer, he graduates a lot of players.

We'll see how Georgia adapts to said theory, because I was so sick of watching Matthew Stafford make horrible decisions in the pocket. Grr.... it would just piss me off to no end!

I agree, all good teams tend to build themselves around a good QB. They are the leadership, I have never seen a team win a championship without a good QB.

He certainly pushes the academics, that is not to say there is not some "help" being supplied to some players, it is just to a lesser degree than some.

We face Georgia on Oct 31st in Jacksonville, I would not mind a little wager with you if you want........ ;)

New York Giants and Eli Manning?

That's why they all major in "Communications".

Ohh... no fukken way. Georgia might shock the world with Cox and Samuel, but I don't think they can beat Florida in Florida... again. Just beat Tennessee and Auburn.

I don't care how you look at the game in Jax: argue the venue size, etc, all you want, I have always believed the game to be a home game for Florida.

Why not? All the sports shows are filled with retired sports players, lol.

I don't know man, Jacksonville is on the State line and is filled with Georgia natives. I can honestly say that I have never thought the stands were more filled one way or the other in an extreme level.

If any game during the regular season is neutral, it is that game.

Yes. I am saying that. Eli is a big sissy mama's boy, too.

Troy Aikman is damn good colorman.

From Athens to Jacksonville is a long ass ride. From Gainesville to Jacksonville ain't nearly as far.

The Dawgs spend more time getting there than practicing, running drills, etc.

I was there in '07.

I don't know if I would go that far, he is pretty good compared to what we have comming out of college these days at the very least, lol.

I personally feel he is pretty good, but I don't spend as much time glued to pro-football the way I used to so maybe your right.......I know he just got a sweet contract so he must be doing something right ;)

Nothing stops them from getting there earlier, and there is more than just Athens who are Georgia fans, as I said, the stands seem to be fairly equal support from both sides so this is as close as you can ever get to a neutral game.

You said you were there in '07, did it seem all florida fans to you? Well maybe at the end people were converted when Georgia didn't look too good but at the beginning did you think it was all Florida?

The 2007 UGA/FLA game was the one with the endzone celebration. Florida fans went home early.
