Thank you. I always aim to be of assistance.

Aside - A colleague of mine, who also must have a small dick, just had to

have the biggest handgun made. He purchased the Desert Eagle in .44 magnum

in about 1999 and had nothing but trouble with it immediately. He broke so

many return springs it became a bit of a joke, and the slide cracked on

quite a few occasions.

It was a heavy mother to hold, the recoil was devastating, and even in a

bench vice, the accuracy was all over the place.

If you really need/want a large handgun, look at the Ruger SuperSix .44

magnum. Only a revolver, but the one with the 8 inch barrel is quite an

accurate piece. Still kicks like the proverbial mule though. I don't think

I've ever fired one without flinching.

If you don't wear ear protectors, you will instantly and most likely

permanently damage your hearing with the .44 Magnum. It is the most

powerful pistol caliber I've fired to date, and I think going to .50

is probably not a good idea for me. I might break a wrist bone again.

My orthopedic surgeon told me that the break in my left ulna will

never again be as strong as the original bone before it fused back

together.

The .44 was enough, and today, maybe too much. I may opt for a .357

Magnum, with which I've had very good results or ... well, let me get

the $$$ first before I begin shopping.

But some recommendations are

Sig Sauer P226 or 228

CZ 75

Ruger P89

Beretta M9

I've taken GLOCK off the drawing boards. There are so many ADs with

them, they are now being manufactured with safetys for special orders

(police departments), but you and I get the shit trigger safety, which

IMO is no safety at all.

Besides, it looks like a piece of shit.

Calibers for my consideration (wrist notwithstanding)

454 casull

500 Smith & Wesson

..44 Magnum

Thompson 45-70

Who knows. I know from experience that when it comes to killing, you

want to do it right, and the better the terminal ballistics, the

better quicker the kill with a well placed shot.

OTOH, if you are a savage animal, you knee elephants with a .22 all

day long until they can't walk anymore and then you go after them with

machetes. You know who/what I'm talking about here: African Monkey

People.

Speaking more of the weapon.

This is one mother of a weapon to shoot.

Loaded with 125gr of IMR3031 and a 500gr Hornady, it kicks like a pack of

mules. Sighted flat at 200 yards, it is only 9.5 inches low at 300 yards

(and still doing 2000 fps). This thing has over 4 tons of energy at 200

yards.

Yes a friend of mine has one, and went with a laminated wooden stock

because of the recoil. I think it looks like hell. IOW, if looks

could kill, that gun of his wouldn't need any bullets.

I fired a 300 Holland & Holland that about knocked me on my ass. It

certainly pushed me back a few steps. That would not be recommended

these days with my ICD/Pacemaker implant.

The 300 H & H is a pussy compared with the .460. It actually kicks far

harder than the Winchester .458.

I remember firing 4 rounds, one after the other, as quickly as I could load

and pull the trigger - result - nose bleed from the muzzle blast.

I was wearing 30dba attenuation hearing protection, a padded shooting jacket

with a pound of lead shot between my shoulder and the jacket, but my ears

were still ringing hours after and my shoulder felt like it had been hit by

a steam train.

I don't doubt _that_ for a second. When I used to come home from the

rifle range, I would take my shirt off and my right shoulder to my

right elbow would be black and blue from firing just 50 rounds of

30-06 150 grain FMJ. Like totally bruised to pieces. These days if I

tried something like that, I would have a broken collar bone,

dislocated shoulder, and maybe a couple of broken eardrums.

Just cause I could get away riding this heavy equipment when I was

younger, does not imply that I could get away with it today without

some serious consequences. I found out just how fragile my bones are

last summer.

Moishe, I =am= an old fart. What I could do and did do when I was

younger...those days seem to be a distant memory.

I'm just going to get a nice .357 magnum and be done with it.

Moishe, I have a good US pacemaker. The Medtronic Virtuoso. And I'm

happy with it. It is a good invention. I have zero complaints about

it. Now, I don't want to break it.

I know from my research that Medtronic is sold around the world, so I

can go to Europe or the Mideast, and have it serviced. I think,

nobody said this but me, it is the same company that put an ICD/PM

into Vice President Cheney. I'll put $5 on that bet anyhow.

That's a hot little pistol for close up and personal. Maybe too close

up and personal. But for concealability, it looks great.

I see that as a stick it in his guts and pull the trigger gun. I want

something that can give me a little more distance between Yours Truly

and the target. But I can definitely see a use for it, especially if

the target doesn't know you're going to use it.

============================================================

Now I think this is what I will buy all at the same time:

Beretta 92 FS

Beretta 3032 Tomcat

holsters

ammo

and then...go to the indoor range to fire some target ammo through

them. And buy some JHP's for the real work.

And then...I still want a .357 Magnum, and will find a stainless steel

revolver for that.

So we have 3 pistols

3 holsters

3 different ammos

and, a happy camper, although, somewhat lighter in the wallet.

Oh, he's told that lie almost as many times as he's disproved it.

Yah, Susan, he is one of the dimmer bulbs on the Christmas tree.

Nobody with an IQ as low as his can possibly be a Doctor of anything.
