If you state an opinion, and I state otherwise, don't suddenly change your opinion because of me. If I make some kind of life-determining decision, don't make the same decision just to be like me. If I hate, don't mindlessly hate the same thing. Same goes for everything else. I see a lot of people do stuff like that. They find a person they like, and after deciding they have no life, attempt to assimilate to the other person's ways. It's rediculous, it's mind numbingly stupid, and it pisses me off. Live your own life. That being said, there are some people that pretend. That pisses me off. At such a point, they aren’t a normal human. Granted, humans try to emulate actions and people that they view as good and acceptable. But what I’m talking about aren’t just pretenders. They are posers. Absolutely the most annoying form of human being on the planet. ParasiteGod and I have a friend. We’ll call her Janet. Now, “Janet” pretends to be a goth. Problem: she almost always wears tie dye. Granted, she’s an independent person, but we all know a big part of being a goth is clothing. Not only this, “Janet” claims to be fat. At 150...and about 5’ 3”, maybe 5’ 4”. Those are not the only things. I have watched this happen with PG. Or, to her, I might say. Our friend “Janet” copies almost everything she does. Except for the clothing. “Janet” has catch phrases that PG had first, and “Janet” doesn’t know where the fuck they’re from. Oh, and when PG starts saying one of the, “Janet” says it with her, verbatim, at the same exact time. Oh, and “Janet” also claims to be a dyke. I'm not surprised this point would escape you but let me explain in terms that even you can understand...there are times that even someone as stubborn and set in my ways as I am, I hear someone else's point of view and see things differently afterward. I don't know everything, everyone has something to offer that is different then my experience. A perfect example is the thread about letting your child get her belly button peirced. My daughter is only 9, I hadn't thought of it in the way that others had...I took on board the things people (with more experience then myself) had to say and changed my opinion. As for Tori, I respect her opinions and have often looked at things differently after a discussion with her. However that does not mean I give a shit if she likes me or not or will give a shit if at some point she disagrees with what I say on something. Sad and typical assumption on your side.
