Here's an interesting article about some jack ass who is claiming his son killed himself because of the effects of weed.

 

I say this is a total crock of shit.

 

You'll notice in the autopsy, the fucker didn't even have weed show up in his system.

 

I say the fucker was depressed already and the weed probably prevented him from killing himself because of it's mind soothing effects.

 

Weed is one of those kinds of drugs that gets done alot by alot of people mainly for this fact alone.

 

I know many people who would probably otherwise be crazy fuckers if it weren't for the fact that they were fucking stoned all the time.

 

NO WAY do I concider them burn outs either.

 

It is my belief, that this man would have probably been alive today, had he STILL kept smoking weed.

Your probably right...I thought it took something like 30 days more or less to get out of your system, I have heard it takes alot longer if you smoke everyday for a long time. So exactly how did pot cause this guy to kill himself, it had to be at least 30 days since he had smoked last?

 

I used to smoke when I had a back problem and no medication they gave me stopped or dulled the pain enough for me to sleep. If I had not smoked a little weed from time to time in order to get some sleep, I might have taken my own life...

The only time I had any hallucinations on pot was when I mixed it with a pharmacuetical...

 

I don't know if thats common, to see things and hear things while smoking pot but I didn't experience that. It just made me feel very relaxed, happy and I didn't notice the back pain I was feeling...HOWEVER, mixing it with Ambien or Xanax was a completely different story.

assumption is a bad thing...but then again...weed prolly didnt help his problems either. It still a drug and beings though I used to live with a chronic pot head...I know the psychological effects it can have on the mind of not only the one smokin it but also the ones around that person. It alters yer mind...anything that makes yer mind act funny has to have some lasting effects. The weed could have effected him in a BIG way. CASE SCENARIO...perhaps the weed made him happy!! Before ever using it, maybe he wasnt particularly UNhappy, but found the uphoria from smoking weed very pleasing...so when he didnt have it he turned into a very UNhappy person with a brain that had been pretty much altered by the substance. That is the same thing as with alcohol and other drugs as well..it is simply called ADDICTION!!! and withdrawls from substance abuse can be WICKED. SO moral of that story...dont freakin use drugs and maybe you wont be such a stupid idiot in the end. Where did all this get the guy??? Well guess thats obvious. If you were with someone who went through alleged "withdrawls" and used this as an excuse to be verbally or physically abusive, then what you REALLY had, was someone who wanted an excuse to not take responsibility for their own life, and blamed it on pot.

Hey, Jhony5, The best one I heard was "What about the guys who smoke pot and molest children?" Of course my response was "What about the guys who drink milk and molest children?"... yeah alcoholics are often violent and deadly....but tokers are just the same as well...the only reason ya dont hear about many tragic deaths due to marijuanna is because of the fact that it is NOT legal like alcohol...so less common in THAT retrospect. Ive been a volunteer EMT for 10 years and I tell ya...Ive seen tragic accidents that could have been avoided. Youd prolly be a lil disturbed seein a little 6 year old girl lying dead under her daddies car while hes freakin out cuz he cant find the bag of weed that was tossed into the back when he rolled his car...WEED is no wonder drug sweetie...and btw, I never bitched about people smokin cigarettes...Im also gonna say that Im not perfect either...I got my share of issues, but I at least can address them, try and fix them, and not just make up any lame excuse for them. Yeah you can put anything you want to in yer body as far as Im concearned...but if its sumpin mind altering...at least have half a brain to not drive and chance taking out a family of five. A Chemical Depencey therapist I used to work with told me that Pot is not something your become physically dependant on and there is no medical detox from the substance like there is for Cocaine for instance. However she did say that like anything you rely on too much, you can become emotionally dependent on it and have a problem stopping...but that can be said for anything from Aspirin to caffiene.

 

It sounds like your talking about people who are doing more then just pot.

 

Some pot would be nice right about now...
