Do we have a plan for contacting some of the old GF gang and inviting them over?

 

I figured Phender and Tori might have had email addresses hopefully stashed somewhere... or.. some other way (devious old Mod ways) to yank a few folk by their ears.

 

I've emailed CES, but..again, his town is flooded and when I called him he was in rescue mode. I don't have anyone else's contact..except TIZZY!!!

 

Who do we want? Anyone able to get ahold of Reg or RO? ... or are these folk coming in here under New names just to make things difficult for me?

 

Do we have a P.L.A.N. ?

This is funny, cuz from the description of what this new board is to be, it's not "the new GF". We're a new animal here. and....it's odd..cuz who's controlling that site, sending the traffic away and so forth? I still don't have a handle on that whole situation.

 

But anyway - as long as that mssg is up, it'll help direct folks.

I'm just a bit curious about this statement from that scumfinder blog.

For a statement like that to be true, there would have to be certain conditions met.

 

1. I would of had to have been a partial owner of the site

2. I would have had knowledge of all negotiations that were being made

3. I would have been made aware of whom the new owner was... surely if I am in a negotiation where actual money is being exchanged, I would not do so to an anonymous person.

 

I guess I really don't get the hostility in this statement.

 

This site here would not be here at this moment if it wasn't for GF being shut down.

 

For proof of that, all one needs to do is look up the domain name registration date for this URL.

 

Bob's account on GF was wiped out. He no longer had the means to fix anything.

 

It certainly appears that some shady business has been done concerning the sale of GF with the new GF site Justbs.us up and running, staffed by the same management team and still collecting revenue from GF memberships,

 

First of all, any idiot would know that system GF used for premium memberships was automated. If a renewel happens, which this looks to be what the case was, then it was not intentional and I do believe Bob would quickly get it fixed...well... if he had ADMIN ACCESS to make the needed changes in the cash mod. But either way, he would still be sure the auto charge was corrected.

 

I guess what I don't understand, is why go through the BS of trying to critisize what we are doing with this site, and insinuate a "shady deal", when ultimately, it was Nazz and his attitude that drove the site down... and down quick.

 

Where is that even remotely my fault when my last time logged in was a day or 2 after it was sold?

 

How is it even remotely Bob's fault that a site went downhill with a new administration in place?

 

As far as I know, there is no known vBulletin hack that will make the user stay on your site.

 

Both of us have said... DAMN, DON'T LET GF GO DOWN, YOU MORON.

 

Bob lived up to his end of the transaction, the new owner jusr didn't live up to the expectations of the members.

I can verify, for a fact, that the charges were automated. And that all you have to do is let Bob know. I've been refunded my $11 or whatever.
