timesjoke Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 It rarely comes up but in certain cases, this is used to charge people with murder, as in this case: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,311894,00.html Three black men break into a white man's home and in the process of robbing him, they attacked his family and his stepson was severely hurt: Edmonds' stepson, Dale Lafferty, suffered brain damage from the baseball bat beating he took during the melee. The 19-year-old lives in a rehabilitation center and can no longer feed himself. The homeowner defended himself and his family with a gun, killing two of the attackers and the prosecutors want to charge the remaining attacker with murder under the Provacative act doctrine. RegisteredAndEducated Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 He should have just gone ahead and killed all of them. Quote Intelligent people think... how ignorance must be bliss.... idiots have it so easy, it's not fair... to have to think... WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO BE AMONG THOSE FORTUNATE MASSES..... Hey, "Non-believers" I've just got one thing to say to ya... If you're right, then what difference does it make, it wont matter when we're dead anyway... But if I'm right... Well, hey... Ya better be right...
