There has been considerable attention given to the story and lots of people going after the Drews so I was wondering what you guys thought of it?

I have no issue with people targeting this family business for boycott, I do however have issue with their home address being posted, as they have kids of their own that don't need tobecome victims of vindictive asswipes.

I didn't really know about this til I followed that link and started reading. What a mess. That poor young girl. What a sh tty thing to do to anyone, especially a young girl. I'm sure it's not the first time someone committed suicide because of another persons deception online or in "real life".

 

Just the first to get so much attention the way the nieghbor and "friend" was the culprit and the other circumstances. Apparently, the Drews even asked to store their foosball table at their house and after this happened, they smashed it and dumped it on the Drews lawn and the Drews pressed charges..

 

 

What amazes and disturbs me more is how many anonymous people out there have taken this story and made it their lifes mission to exact justice on Lori Drew, her Husband, and her family. When did everyone become God? Does it really make people feel better when someones life is destroyed?

 

 

I'm sure she feels tremendous guilt for what she did and what happened despite popular opinion on that link. I think she knows it was wrong. What's she suppose to do? Enjoy being terrorized by the entire nation? Hang herself in public to satisfy the bloodlust of a sick society who will not rest until they have their "justice"? If charges can't be pressed for a crime, it's not up to anyone to exact "justice". No one knows how Lori Drews feels except Lori Drew.

 

 

Her phone #, her husbands #, business #, address, house photo's, all the numbers of the businesses that advertised with her company.. unreal

 

Lori Drews is obviously disturbed to do that to anyone, but she is not responsible for the young girls death. I wonder if any one of those vigilantes on that thread realize they are no better than her who they condemn, and are responsible for doing the same thing they are condemning her for? Doubt it.. tough to see when blinded by hate because ones own life is too painful to tend to.. It satisfies nothing in me to see Lori Drews family and children destroyed too.. This woman got away with pushing a teeneager to kill herself. Yes, the girl most likely had emotional problems but what teenager is completely stable? They are all dealing with new hormones and peer pressures that can drive anyone mad and when I see that this adult used her greater knowledge of the world to manipulate this teenage girl to the point of killing herself, all I can say is she deserves to be charged with a crime that is equal to the damage she helped to cause.

 

 

Wez, you seem to always take the side of letting crimals get away with everything but condemn the actions of our Government for even the slightest amount of meddling. This woman did much more then meddle, she pushed a young girl over the edge to kill herself.

 

 

We have laws on the books making it illegal just to follow someone, it is called stalking, we have all sorts of laws against harassment and cannot even have a picture someone finds offensive on our desk, but somehow it is legal to harass a teenager over the internet in a malicious way and cause her death, that is incredibly insane to me.

 

 

Think of it this way, what lesson have we tought all kids with this story?

Lori Drew pretended to be the girls boyfriend and then later told the girl she should just kill herself - so it seems Lori Drew had nothing better to do including taking care of her own children. Again, a child died here:mad: I guess everyone is suppose to just let Lori live in peace, like you always say Wez do unto others, well she didn't give that girl a moment's peace and basically harassed her in her own home(although through cyberspace).
