The Intel on Iran

I'm sitting here trying to watch MSNBC without out putting my foot through the TV. Bush lied! again! They're fighting over when he knew the intel over Iran was wrong and if he continued to mislead America. Yet they all concur Iran is still a threat. What bunch of morons!!! There will never be crystal clear intelligence. I can't for the life of me figure why people can be so stupid. People we are not mind readers! You can't possibly know what your adversary is thinking. We gather intel and then decide if it's right or not. We make the best decision on that and go with it. Do they want Bush to stand up and say "Never mind. Iran's cool man. We got it all wrong." No he's gonna continue to say, and rightfully so, that Iran is a threat! A big threat. And just because our intel was wrong (or so it seems, never know) we should just throw up our hands.

Here is something I learned a few years ago. Iranians are not Arabs ! Strange but true. Iranians are the people who were once called Persians. They do not speak Arabic. They have their own language I think. Not sure, but I think they are Indo-Europeans.

 

Arabs view then with suspicion, sometimes hostility. I remember reading somewhere that the Arabs have a saying, that there are three things God should not have invented - Jews, flies and Persians !

They speak Farsi, not Arabic. Just another tidbit.

I agree, while those that require a 100% gurantee will keep their hands in theor pockets and be killed, I prefer to act in a proactive way based on the most likely reality.

 

 

Using just the Iran rulers own words, he clearly says he is in search of nuclear weapons to remove the Jews from the world. Why not take him at his word in this reguard?

 

The only time he says something different is when there are new sanctions about to be imposed on him. All other times he is defiant and very solid in his desire.

 

 

 

That said, I would not insert troops, I would simply bomb them into the stone age so they have something other then killing Jews on their minds.

I was flipping back and forth from MSNBC (Countdown) and Fox (Hanity and Combs). On H & C they had someone on there that also reminded everbody that if this were true what made Iran stop was the millitary force going on in Iraq. We had no sanctions going on then. That really tells you something.

Well, obviously the show of force in Iraq was intended to be a message to all of the middle east.

 

When we took Afganistan, there was no real attention given to it, nobody cared about Afganistan so clearly we needed another target that would get some attention, Iraq was just as good as any other target for that purpose and we had over 14 years of UN screwups (like the oil for food scandle and inspector scandles, etc....) combined with Suddam shooting off his mouth every other day.

 

The result, all the areas radical groups poured every dime and body they could into Iraq to fight the "infidels" and even though the fight has been messy, we are comming out on top. Violence is way down all over Iraq ans the average radical fighter is very young, too young, a sign they have squandered their future on this fight in Iraq that they felt they had to win but clearly have failed.

 

 

If Iran and other Countries did not learn from this, they are more stupid than I thought.
