The primary function of government is to defend it's citizens from aggression. In Israel's precarious position (surrounded by Islamic nations) it must call on those citizens to make strong sacrifices. It's defending it's citzens on somebody elses land. In Israel's precarious position (surrounded by Islamic nations) it must call on those citizens to make strong sacrifices. Too bad the majority of people who are making strong sacrifices are the Palestinians to keep their land and dignity. Not only that but their lives.
