You can keep Avast. It's a great antivirus. But it dosen't take care of the spyware. You should also try spybot. It will find stuff that Adware dosen't. And visa versa. I use all three. google tool bar is great! You don't need to dump it. But any others are usally bad. I hate the Yahoo tool bar but it's inproved. Mysearch is spyware. I can't think of anymore right of hand. You will have problems if you'll have more than one tool bar. You should only have one.Go to windows uninstall and dump any tool bars you find. I stick with google.

Thanks man, I do use spybot too, but it hasn't found anything since I got this new comp last year. Yeah, gotta love the google toolbar, it's the only one I got.
