Hahahaha.. what the hell is that vid? Stained over Marshall's wrongway touchdown it said. I'll try to find the real footage.

Video-Jim Marshall running the wrong way - YouTube | NFL, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers

It's at this link, but the vid doesn't show up here.

I don't think that's it either.. looks like one of those old vibrating football games.. Hahahaha.. Poor Jim.

Jim Marshal running the wrong way was a classic. I remember my dad, a huge Vikings fan, sceaming at the TV while he was rambling the wrong way.

I know how easy it would be to get your directions screwed up playing football. I was a linebacker in college and got my bell rung real good on a tackle. I wound up in the offense's huddle. They called med staff out right away and they got me off the field. Didn't play the rest of that quarter. I don't remember anything about the rest of the game although I did play the 4Th quarter so I was told.

On to my pick. There hasn't been a major upset yet. Yes Indy losing could be considered one, but, San Diego really has the kind of talent on D that could nutralize Indy and they did.

I'm going with, drumroll please, New England.

Even though there hasn't been a big upset there won't be one next Sunday.

Hey, "Non-believers" I've just got one thing to say to ya... If you're right, then what difference does it make, it wont matter when we're dead anyway... But if I'm right... Well, hey... Ya better be right...

I'm going to have to pick the Patriots to win the SuperBowl, but it is hard to pick against the underdog Giants, this playoff season. I'm doing it because right now the AFC upper tier teams have been stronger than the NFC upper tier teams, for several years but I think the gap is closing a bit.

Do I get the 14 point spread if I go with the Giants?

Hats off to the Giants. Wrong color hoodie coach!

What a great moment in sports history. This totally makes up for having to watch my Colts bow out early in the playoffs. The Giants defense was monstrous tonight. Absolutely monstrous.

Great game. I still do not know why the Patriots did not go for the field goal in the second quarter.

I was only going for the Pats so I would never have to hear from the '72 Dolphins again in my life, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Still the Pats had more wins in a season then the '72 Dolphins.

Any way I predict a lot more to come of the allogations of the Pats filming other teams in their prior Super Bowl wins against the Rams, Panthers and Eagles.

What I was anticipating as a witch hunt from Arlen Spectre may just blossom now that New England lost.

I loved every minute of the game. I knew at half time that the Giants had it. My wife, a Giants fan, asked me how her team was doing. I said they're losing, but, don't worry they got it. She said yea right.

Then it happened. What a game.

I was the oposite. The Hoodie is usually the best coach in either pro or college ball for making the right changes at half time.

Didn't work out this time though.

I believe it boils down to pressuring the quarterback. Ther giants were able to get lots of pressure on Brady, but Manning rarely felt any real bad pressure. With the current level of football, you just can't let a quarterback have that kind of time.

My hat is off to the Giants, they played excellent defense and the younger Manning held remarkable composure throughout the entire game.

This is why I love football, it is not as simple as looking at the statistics, the human factor will always make a huge difference in things like this.

Because they are a c cky bunch. That decision was so far out of the realm of football sense. 4th and 13, 7-3 score and they're up, within field goal range, and they freaking go for it? WHY? That attitude is why I hate them. Ruthless bullies. People have been asking me why I hate them. Thats why. Arrogant crap like that is why. And for whatever reason they always seem to get lucky and get away with it. Not this time, apparently.

Eli came through bigtime, but you are right. That Giants defense was crazy mean. There should have been a 3 man MVP nob for Umenyorya, Tuck and Strahan.

Did anyone else notice how extremely uptight the Pats were going into the game. Brady looked as if you couldn't pound a penny up his ass with a jackhammer.

I think this David vs Goliath win does alot to help the game. Namely, I was afraid that the ruthless, "f ck everybody" team method of operation was going to become business as usual throughout the NFL. In this copy cat league that kinda mentality could spread like wild fire. Maybe some will now question whether or not that is the best team attitude now that we all witnessed the boil over of the "Best team in NFL history". Now only the best team in NFL history to lose the Super Bowl. Boston deserves this. As I talked about earlier this season, their collective attitude is that of an enraged 2 year old. They are sore winners, sore losers, cheaters and cry babies. They had a book written called "19-0". They had begun spending money and planning for the Super Bowl parade in Boston. They deserve this big ol slice of humble pie.

I agree. The entire north east or 'new england' needs to fall off of the map... along with california....

The local news reported that men were crying in bars here in Boston. I was crushed too. I still love the Patriots though.

BWAHHAHAAHAHAHAA!!!!! I didn't watch at all because I didn't want to see the Pats win... I wish I had watched now! I'm certainly not a giants fan, but I'm glad that now the ne pats will have to stfu!

New allegations about the Pats secretly video taping St. Louis before the first super bowl they won sre starting to surface. Rams are rumored to be filing a formal complaint with the league.

Maybe this shows that the cheating might be a major reason Belecick wins. Makes you wonder how a guy can be run out Cleveland because he was so terrible yet look like a God in New England.

Either way Spagnuola out coached him big time in this game.

Even if they did video tape St. Louis, why would this help them? The only thing I can see helping them is taping plays from the team they are about to play.

The league is going to investigate previous super bowls because the Rams are filing a complaint. You misunderstood me. The point I'm trying to make is they might have won the previous super bowls because they cheated and this time they couldn't because they were caught and got beat.

He means years ago when the Pats were the underdogs against St Louis in the Super bowl. 2003? People are starting to question the validity of the Patriots past championships due to the enormous advantage that videotaping signals gives an offense.
