I don't know if it is fair to blame military service or war time actions on the murders committed by veterans of Afganistan and Iraq.

 

 

I am sure that some of those who enter service are going to trend tword more agressive behavoirs and mindsets in the first place, not due to their service in a war zone.

 

 

But, I would admit that PTSD is a powerful problem, needing a great deal of attention. I just hink that if it was just the service in combat that was causing this kind of violence, then we would be seeing much higher numbers. The 120 killings they talk about by soldiers is not even a percentage point of the total number of troops that have rotated through combat in both places for the last few years.

Timmy (terrorist) McVie was a 1st gulf war veteran.. He was the one that blew up that huge van bomb at the federal building in Oklahoma City in 1995.. I also am pretty sure he belonged to one of those "Patriot" groups you asked me about.. Patriots they are not, it seems. Unlike muslims, he did not blow himself up with it, he was rushed through the justice system and put to death in 2001. Mostly by his own choice as he didn't want to go through all the appeals and whatnot to extend it. Most people linger on death row for decades before they're actually put to death. He actually took full responsiblity though, and requested death... he even called the children killed in the daycare center, "collateral damage". No one likes to talk about him around these parts.. Full, white blooded, all American.. The scarey thing is, you know he had friends and help.

 

 

Not sure if he was a veteran, but another soldier is currently being hunted down as he apparently killed another female soldier who was pregnant and had recently accused him of rape. There is speculation that the child may have been his. They just dug her and the fetus out of his backyard the day before yesterday. I think they spotted him somewhere, wont be long. Appears the idiot also is claiming she sliced her own throat and he just buried and ran off.. I thought the armed services taught people to take responsibility..

 

 

Perhaps it's not the wisest idea anyone ever had to cultivate aggression, hate, and anger in young, impressionable adults and children. Just a thought..
