snafu Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 OK I'm sitting here watching the show "Don't forget those lyrics" (cool ) and thought it would be fun trying it out here. I know people hate to be wrong so this might not catch on but what the Hay. It's all in fun. The rules are pretty simple. And we can add rules depending on what everybody thinks. 1) The songs can't be to obscure that people won't know them. They should be hit songs. 2) You can't cheat and look them up. 3) The winner gets to pick the next song. 4) If you are the starter of the song you can look up the song to get it started right and can decide when to start the guessing. 5) We keep the guessing lyrics down to three or four words. 6) We make the same amount of dashes to fit the word thats missing. I'll start with an easy one. The Beatles - The fool on the hill Day after day, alone on the hill The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still But nobody wants to know him They can see that he's just a fool As he never gives an answer But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the ---- -- --- ---- Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws.
