ImWithStupid Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Do you think a conservative former President or conservative candidate for President would get the same free pass on something like this that former President Clinton is getting in the media. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMXt4o826ZY]YouTube - Bill Clinton falls asleep during Martin Luther King speech[/ame] Maybe I shouldn't say free pass, but I'm sure there would be much more outcry of disrespect and such. With former President Clinton, it seems they are excusing it because of the long hours and travelling he's doing on behalf of his wife. Quote
Jhony5 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 It is funny but.....that man has been burning both ends for a very very long time campaigning for his wife. He is obviously exhausted and we know how long winded that those civil rights speeches can be. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.

A week after playing the race card like Bill did last week? I. Don't. think. So. No matter how many hours were spent burning both ends of the candle, or cigar as the case may be... Bill Clinton has never had a free pass with the media. And how can you be sure there would be more of an outcry if the sleeping man was a conservative - is it because conservatives themselves are usually outraged about every little thing that liberals do - therefore, it would only be fair for the same amount of outrage to be applied to one of their own? Anna they pay BIG money to get Bill Clinton to do anything. Yes he has a free pass. He will only answer certain things. His whole time in front of a camera has to be scripted. He's blowing it now only because he can't be a selective as he normally is. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's just insane!" snafu Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 That sounds like every other politician out there. Not to his extent. He's a very charismatic person. The first knee jerk reaction is to make excuses for him while the first reaction by the press against a conservative is to attack them. I think his appearances for his wife is getting in the way of his woman chasing, that can take a toll on the sleep time. Where is Monice when Bill needs her? Quote
RegisteredAndEducated Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 What a loser. Somebody get rid of this idiot already. I hated clinton while he was in office, and I hate him now. ImWithStupid Posted January 23, 2008 Author Posted January 23, 2008 Hell, I would have fell asleep too. . . Me too, but I'm not a former President who is only there to drum up support for my wife's candidacy for President, with every media outlet watching. Quote

Lemme guess.. your parents hated Clinton when you were growing up because they needed to blame their problems on someone? The Clinton lie. He was a wannabe dictator, he was a liar, he was a thief, and a murderer. I've actually been a big fan of politics since I was young. I had some pretty heated debates over politics with my parents, my friends parents, my friends, complete strangers... I made myself knowledgable and I debated intelligently. One of my parents voted for clinton, one voted against... both times. My mother could care less about politics and she thought Clinton was good looking... My father was a small business owner and an alcohol and drug abuser who payed way more than his due in taxes every day/week/month/year. I don't think I need your input on how my parents felt about anything, much less politics. Don't assume you know me or anything about myself or my family. Thank you. . .
