Hairy ears are an inherited trait that some geneticists believed was passed along on the Y (male) chromosomes. Also, if you have hairy ears you are more likely to be bald. Hairy ears have no purpose. Gut flora produce compounds such as indole, skatole, and thiols (sulfur containing compounds), as well as the inorganic gas hydrogen sulfide. These are the same compounds that are responsible for the odor of flatulence. Consumption of foods with spices may result in the spices being undigested and adding to the odor of feces. Smell and taste belong to our chemical sensing system (chemosensation). The complicated processes of smelling and tasting begin when molecules released by the substances around us stimulate special nerve cells in the nose, mouth, or throat. I think it's mainly a problem with wound and burn patients.. People with open skin. Not really known as an STD.. people get bad staph infections and it's resistant.. But staphlococcus aureas causes alot of stuff.. antibiotics are great for most.. Quote
