phreakwars Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 That was a disgusting cartoon, basically called unemployed people lazy. Make no mistake. Voters are gonna remember on election day which party it was that called them "sponges" after destroying their jobs. . . Quote https://www.facebook.com/phreakwars

Voters are gonna remember on election day which party it was that called them "sponges" after destroying their jobs. . . If you thought for a moment there may be a different motivation for that cartoon, you wouldn't think so. comes from the fact that the Democrats are cutting $12 billion from the food stamp program, despite the record need, in order to give the money to Democrat-friendly teacher's unions whose membership is 70% sponges. http://hopenchangecartoons.blogspot.com/2010/08/suck-it-up.html Quote

ImWithStupid Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Now the teachers are sponges too? Whoa.. . . If you could think outside your own world and apply it to the big union teachers, yes. Teachers in big cities, big union teachers, are sponges. They expect to be insulated from the hard times on the backs of those who are hurt the worst. Just like big government union employees of all kinds, teachers, cops, firefighters, utility workers, etc... Won't budge a bit but expect everyone else to foot the bill. More spin, or just more ignorance? Quote

I guess you don't mind your money going to Big Labor to keep their members from having to share in the hard times, and pay for their pensions while my 401k goes down, but I don't see why they should prosper on the backs of those who are hit hardest. Why do you hate middle America so much? http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ezra-klein/2010/07/senate_cutting_food_stamps_to.html Quote
