[/url]AP - The United Nations has decided to remove unarmed observers from their posts along the Israeli-Lebanese border, moving them in with the peacekeeping force in the area, a spokesman said Friday. The decision came three days after one of the posts of the observer force, known as UNTSO, was destroyed by an Israeli airstrike earlier this week, killing four.

I don't think the Israelis attacked the U.N. on purposes but how in the hell did they fuck that one up? You think that building would've been marked in their maps and such. They should put a big. U.N. symbol on the tops' of their buildings from now on.

MILOS STUGER: Yes, this is permanently occupied since 1972, and coordinates of all UN positions were given to all the parties. Yeah, and clearly marked and well known position.

 

MICHAEL VINCENT: Do you know ... is this the first time in this conflict a UN building has been targeted?

 

MILOS STUGER: I cannot say that it has been targeted. I can tell you it was hit, and not unfortunately, not the first time.
