ImWithStupid Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 What, if any, negative affects do you see coming from this announcement? Pentagon seeks death penalty against alleged 9/11 plotters Original posting at 11:06 a.m. ET: The Pentagon just announced that it is filing capital charges against six suspected members of al-Qaeda who are accused of plotting the 9/11 attacks. Pentagon seeks death penalty against alleged 9/11 plotters - On Deadline - USATODAY.com I see the ACLU is already speaking out on this. I hope that we don't end up with an increase in attacks by terrorists as a result, but it is truly a concern of mine in light of historical reactions by Islamic extremists. As an American, I know I would change my plans to travel to certain parts of the world if I had intended to. Quote
snafu Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Even though they are not American cititzens they should have been given the right to speedy trial. A military trial though. Then fried! eddo Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 They would likely prefer to be killed, or "martyred" as they will see it. Chop their nuts off instead. Getting 72 virgins and not having nuts would really suck. Quote I'm trusted by more women.
timesjoke Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Well, I don't buy the non-American getting American rights stuff. We pay a high price to have our freedoms and they have not earned the right to enjoy our rights. I would not make any decision as to what charges or penalties to chase based on fear of reprisal, if we start going down that path, we will never make it back. In my opinion, they should die. Quote

Yeah I agree but I think they should'a got a military tribunal like the Nuremberg's and got it over quickly. They should be gone already. I would like to appologize to any Islamic extremist for making a generalized statement about your group. This may not apply to all of you and for that I appologize. Quote
timesjoke Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Yeah I agree but I think they should'a got a military tribunal like the Nuremberg's and got it over quickly. They should be gone already. I guess that is based on if your done with them yet. I am sure there are hopes of gaining information and such from them even years later. Another problem is to not show your cards until everyone has played and made their bets. A fast trial puts all your cards on the table faster than you may want that information made public. If Bush was not wanting some closure before he leaves office, I would bet these guys would still be held without taking them to trial. Quote

Did you see on the news about the water torture we did on them? They are trying to determine if the info we got from them is admissible in court now. Well, as I said before, I would not give them the same rights as Americans because they have not earned those rights. I don't care if they were waterboarded or even had their fingernails pulled off, they are the enemy and want my children dead, let them lay in the bed they made. Quote
snafu Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Yeah watereboarding. It's the humane torture. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's just insane!" Penn & Teller NEVER FORGOTTEN
timesjoke Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Yeah watereboarding. It's the humane torture. Nope, it is real torture, just like mental abuse is real abuse even if you cannot see a bruise. I am not one of the idiots playing games with words, I agree that waterboarding "is" torture and I also say hell yes, do that and much, much more. We are not dealing with girlscouts trying to bully a few extra cookie sales on us. Quote
snafu Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I like the Chinese water torture. Where they shave a bald spot on your head and let a drip of water hit it for weeks. ImWithStupid Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Yeah watereboarding. It's the humane torture. I personally like it because it can instill the fear of being dead without leaving any marks. Quote

Take the Infraorbital or Hypoglossal nerve for example, I can either ease you into tremendious pain slowly or just spike you into so much pain you pass out instantly, all with almost no effort on my part. But I am rarely interested in talking much, lol. Quote
eddo Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I find that sitting them down in front of a Barney video -continuous loop will have them talking in no time. Quote I'm trusted by more women.

I seem to get a good response from stimulating the mandibular angle or even the radial nerve, with the opposite hand, during a seemingly friendly handshake. Quote
wez Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I prefer to stimulate nerve endings myself. Take the Infraorbital Sticking your finger through someones eye is not cool.. I seem to get a good response from stimulating the mandibular angle neither is punching someone in the jaw... unless they're trying to stick their finger through your eye socket.. Quote
ImWithStupid Posted February 13, 2008 Author Posted February 13, 2008 Sticking your finger through someones eye is not cool.. It doesn't have anything to do with the eye. It comes out of the skull under the eye though. It is stimulated, by applying pressure just under the nose where it meets the upper lip and usually pressed inward and upward. Quote

And leaves no marks, maybe a slight red mark that will fade away in an hour. A properly trained cop these days can put you through hell by stimulating nerves and after it is all done, you don't even have a bruise to show for your experience. Quote

If it didn't leave a mark, it didn't happen. Right? Perhaps Jhony was right about cops.. Hahahahaha I prefer to stimulate the brain with the truth... Could be good, could be bad, I leave it up to the them. Quote
