After long debates, the government was forced to remove the taxation without representation...but did it? Ever go to the store and wonder why you have to pay 8 extra cents for a .99 cent item? Advertisements always tell people that "you can get this for a buck" or "you can get this for under a dollar", and yet you don't pay that dollar that they promise.
