Guest sheik-yerbouti Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Like many others I've had a few Nigerians trying to scam me with pitiful e-mail tales. Some people are so pissed off with them, that a new sport has been created called- scambaiting. The idea seems to be that you cause the jerk a pile of discomfort on behalf of those they may well have duped. This exchange is priceless entertainment. The scammer really comes to believe what the scambaiter tells him- namely, that to get the funds he requested, he must join a particular (invented) christian sect. He must then have himself tattooed. The fool does just that, then sends the proof via a photo. Of course he never gets the money. And a scambaiting conspirator gets involved masquerading as another scammer wanting a cut, the original scam merchant then reveals that he is just a criminal. Its hilarious I can't wait for my next e-mail from Nigeria ! If i dont post in a while, you'll know why ! Enjoy ! Welcome to the 419 Eater Quote

Guest Molly_Ringworm Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I've read some transcripts of similar scambaiting. This one guy strung along his scammer for about 3 months! He had the guy madder than a hornet by the end. Very funny stuff! Good luck with it and please save and post the transcripts! Quote
wez Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Psalm 7:15 He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. Proverbs 26:27 He who digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone, it will come back on him. Hahahahaha.. Funny stuff.. Guy prolly barely slept for weeks.. Quote
Guest sheik-yerbouti Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Well, I.ve followed the advice, and set up a mail address just to deal with these folks. Next as advised, I've posted on guest notice boards, which are known to be used by scamers to find victims. Of course I,ve left the e-mail address. Now I just sit back and wait for a bite. To make myself seem like a likely target I am posing as a priest. That should reel in a few bad-uns. I'll keep you posted. father.p.collins@youknowwhere.com Quote

Guest sheik-yerbouti Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Sir 17th Feb 2008 Gods peace be with you brother. I hope all is well with you and the Divine Love Charity Home. Unfortunately, I can offer no financial help to this charity, as 50 years ago I took a vow of poverty. All my wordly goods are given to my order- The Children of the Righteous. Our order does wonderful work in the developing world, but only where the recipitants join our order. Last year the order donated over $750000 to charitable work. May god bless you and keep you brother. Father Patrick Quote
Chi Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Everytime I read the title of this, it cracks me up. Prolly cuz I've heard people really talk like this. Quote
RoyalOrleans Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I know some guys who talk like this, too. Reminds me of this white guy that I know (I don't know his real name, but we all call him "White Mike".), who proclaims to be from the streets (The mean streets of Middle-of-nowhere, GA.). He is blacker than my long time Marine brother and close friend who happens to be black, but speaks like a nerdy white guy. Kinda hard to get any street cred with a last name of "Van Winkle"... 1 Quote I'm trusted by more women.

To cut the long story short, I have few hours left to live, depending on my surgery which will take place soon.Although I am rich, but it doesn’t matter anymore. I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul and so with that reason I decided to give what I have to charity and I never had children. I want this to be one of the last good deed on earth. I now give you the authority to dispatch my last funds to any charity of your choice.I have Four million dollars in a financial institution. I want you to keep fifty percent of this amount for yourself and time, while you keep the other fifty percent to any charity of your choice. You can contact my lawyer who will assist you in getting the funds to you. He would give you more details. His name is Larry Martin, and his email address ( larmartiiinss@aol.co.uk ) He would guide you through receiving the funds. Lot of Love, Cristina So.. obviously I contacted Larry and gave him all my account info and eagerly await my 2 million.. I'm rich bitch!!! I think I'll donate the other 50% to the Jerry Falwell ministries.. Quote
