ImWithStupid Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Cept for Timmy, and 19 hijackers... Better make some more bombs. Last time I checked Timmy got dead, along with the hijackers and alot of their friends. Not to mention that they haven't been able to do anything to us in over seven years. Many an attempt broken up both here and abroad. Quote
hugo Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Cept for Timmy, and 19 hijackers... Better make some more bombs. We should nuke every nation except Britain, Australia and Canada. It would be great for the little guy in the US. It would also end global warming. A win-win. Then kill every damn cat except RO's. GIVEN THE U.S. PRESS REPORTS of overwhelming Panamanian support for the invasion, our delegation was anxious to find out who, if anyone, opposed it. Although it proved impossible to collect statistical data on this question, we did find significant opposition. The independent Panamanian human rights organizations (translation: commies) we contacted were unanimously opposed to the U.S. military action. Representatives of those groups told us they considered the invasion a violation of human rights, including the fundamental right of life. We also saw evidence of opposition among public employees (translation: commies). Two hundred and fifty had demonstrated on January 9, and government workers held another demonstration during our stay. The workers had lost their jobs because their prior employment by the Noriega government rendered them suspect to the current regime, regardless of whether or not they were, in fact, Noriega supporters. But while it is clear that many in Panama are opposed to the invasion--and that their numbers are growing--it must be added that most Panamanians appear to support U.S. intervention in their country . God shed his grace on thee Till souls wax fair as earth and air And music-hearted sea! O beautiful for pilgrims feet, Whose stem impassioned stress A thoroughfare for freedom beat Across the wilderness! America! America! God shed his grace on thee Till paths be wrought through wilds of thought By pilgrim foot and knee! O beautiful for glory-tale Of liberating strife When once and twice, for man's avail Men lavished precious life! America! America! hugo Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 PANAMA CITY, Panama The 1989 U.S. invasion that ousted dictator Manuel Noriega opened this small nation's road to greater democracy and prosperity. Now Panama is bracing for his possible return, and the likelihood that he will spend little time behind bars. Noriega, who has spent 18 years in a U.S. prison, is up for release Sept. 9 and wants to come home. The United States wants him extradited to France to face further charges. A Miami judge will hear arguments today. For most Panamanians, Noriega is the ghost of a dark past in a country that has moved on through three peaceful democratic elections, gained sovereignty over the Panama Canal and is earning $1.5 billion dollars a year from it - more than the 104-year-old waterway ever yielded in American hands. Attention here is focused much less on Noriega's fate than, for instance, on plans for a $5.25 billion expansion of the canal to handle modern container ships, cruise liners and tankers that are too large for its current 108-foot-wide locks. That's why most people in this nation of 3 million want to see Noriega stay in the past - and in prison. The question is, where? A poll by Dichter & Neira Latin Research Network for La Prensa newspaper found 47 percent want him imprisoned in Panama and 44 percent want him sent to a third country. The poll of 1,218 people had a margin of error of 3 percentage points. It's always easy to tell the person who has never been out of the country. He's the one who shows disdain for his country first over what he has. He's the one who is no different from the spoiled teenager who calls the cops when their parents take away their cell phone, not being grateful for even having one in the first place. Look at someone who I wouldn't surprise is a hero of yours, William Ayers, he first and foremost thought the worst of his country, firebombed federal buildings, the home of a judge who's kids were inside, and bombed police stations killing an officer, but when asked a simple queston by a reporter outside his home, who did he call. The police, and the same type of people he waged war on, did what they are expected to do and came to the assistance of a despicable human being, that killed one of their own, becasue it is their duty. Something someone like you and Mr. Ayres will never understand. Nobody here has ever said you should follow your country and patriotism blindly, the difference between them and you, wez, is you first assume the worst of your country barring any proof otherwise, regardless of the proven evil deeds of those they oppose. The majority here, will hope the best of their country but have an open mind to mistakes or misdeeds, and can accept that both happen. 1 Quote
wez Posted November 30, 2008 Author Posted November 30, 2008 All of which were National Guard, not the US military. You mean the Army national guard? The same ones doing multiple tours in Iraq? federally recognized, the member or unit becomes part of the Army National Guard of the United States [4][5][6], which is a reserve component of the United States Army [4], and part of the National Guard of the United States [4]. Army National Guard of the United States units or members may be called up for federal active duty in times of Congressionally sanctioned war or national emergency hahahaha.. invisible lines are funny.. ImWithStupid Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 You mean the Army national guard? The same ones doing multiple tours in Iraq? Yea, them. They still can't do military actions in the US under federal orders. hahahaha.. invisible lines are funny.. God/Allah/Jehova/??? can't see them.. he/she/it fools easily.. yay us No invisible lines. Any actions in the US are under the authority and control of the governor of their state. If called for national duty it has to be action outside the US. Nice cherry picking of the law though. Quote
hugo Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 American girls and American guys will always stand up and salute; Will always recognize When we see ol' glory flying, There's a lot of men dead, So we can sleep in peace at night when we lay down our head. My daddy served in the army, Where he lost his right eye. But he flew a flag out in our yard 'til the day that he died. He wanted my mother, my brother, my sister and me To grow up and live happy in the land of the free. Now this nation that I love has fallen under attack. A mighty sucker punch came flying in from somewhere in the back. Soon as we could see clearly through our big black eye, Man we lit up your world like the Fourth of July. Hey Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list, And the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist. And the eagle will fly, And there's gonna be Hell, When you hear Mother Freedom start ringing her bell! It's gonna feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you... Brought to you courtesy of the Red, White and Blue! Oh, Justice will be served and the battle will rage. This big dog will fight when you rattle his cage You'll be sorry that you messed with the US of A 'Cuz we'll put a boot in your ass It's the American way. Hey Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list, And the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist. And the eagle will fly, And there's gonna be Hell, When you hear Mother Freedom start ringing her bell! And it'll feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you... I don't think he's a hero.. you do.. he served in the army and fought in the gulf war. He's a vet.. errr.. was a vet. And I don't think the worst of my country.. I think what I know to be true. So don't tell me who I think is a hero and what I think of my country. Not real keen on watching it be destroyed by hypocrites and liars blindly supported by people like you.
