To say the work you did on my van was anywhere in the realm of good would be like saying Corky is not retarded. Humm that is a thought, maybe you are retarded and I can get a tax credit for contributing to the handicapped, what do you think? Well if that fails, I sure would like my money back I think the loan I gave you has been in your hands long enough, don?t worry about the interest I know you need as much cash as possible, food stamps just aren?t worth as much as they used to be.

 

Anyways, here is what we are looking at Corky (that?s your new name)

 

My transmission blew up because you did not properly reconnect it. $2,982.40

Towing $385.00

You took my transmission cooler off, which was not leaking because the deer I hit was back in 2001, think I would have had a problem by now if it was leaking. $836.22

Associated issues with how you put the new engine in, engine had to be reinstalled & remachined $3,314.24

PCV line missing, vacuum leak

Oil pan leaking, because you did not clean off all the old gasket, you just put another one over it

Front timing cover leaking

You did not clean the parts and seal areas on the parts transferred to the new engine

Valve cover leaking oil into intake

Soft plug leaking front of block

Temp sending unit leaking coolant

Thermostat housing leaking coolant

Rear of intake leaking coolant & oil

Starter not engaged properly

Did not properly reconnect vacuum lines and vacuum reservoir (the black plastic ball you left bouncing around on top of my radiator fan)

Engine core you kept $150.00

Invalidating my warranty $964.00 (value of new block)

Rear differential had to be rebuilt $1,128.74

 

Yup you are a real peach Corky, You probably won?t be able to come up with the $9,760.60 all at once, but you can start by sending me the $800.00 I paid you. In fact, if you can scrounge up $800.00 I gave you plus the $700 or so I paid Cenex I will call us even.
