DaMan Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Is this a rebate or is it an advance on next years tax return? I have heard it both ways. Some say it's a loans that we will repay next year at tax time. Some say it's a stipend. Which is it? Quote
Old Salt Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Everything I've read and heard says it's "free" money. Doesn't count against next year's taxes. Of course, "free" money isn't free, it will increase the deficit. Quote
