Yeah welll we got the protection on the USA up here for sure. sure helps your tank too. Not only your tank but your ass. We're first defense. RoyalOrleans Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I agree.. I'm sure it was a lot more than just slavery... My family tree traces directly to this patriot founding father. He turned out to be quite right about the federal government becoming too powerful and was smart to oppose the constitution.. Staunch anti-federalist til death.. Today he'd be called "anti-American". snafu Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Today he'd be called "anti-American". My Irish ancestors where indentured servants. I guess that's better than slavery. ImWithStupid Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 The civil war? Those were the people who were recruited to fight for the elite few I'm sure.. That war was all about slavery.. After Lincoln freed them, the South wanted to secede from the union.. and poor immigrants on both sides paid the price. Actually seven states anounced succession from the Union before Lincoln even took office. The Emancipation Proclomation was a tool used to try to get the states to rejoin the union. It only freed the slaves in those states that didn't rejoin by January 1st 1863, three years into the war. It didn't outlaw slavery in the northern states at all. Quote
ImWithStupid Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 OMG!! Are all of you people racists? I just now saw this post. To answer your question, "no", some of us are just sexist. I don't care what race or ethnicity the women on the view are, they are all anoying because of their gender. Quote
