Actually, I have no problem with her opinion.

 

What I do have a problem with is her not even researching the topic, then saying things that don't make for anything debate-like...it's just her saying things that make no sense at all.

I think ya jumped the box there pretty quickly...yer pissed off and want "justice" because she spoke incorrectly...so what if she wasnt sittin there flipping thru the Holy Bible as she wass posting that...trying to prove her point. It does, but I have not read anything on this board from anyone who has countered an argumant that "Christianity is Evil" with arguments that "Islam is Evil". The fact (ok opinion) that Islam is Evil has absolutely no bearing on Christianity what so ever, and of course the reciprocal is true.

 

I have made plenty of arguments that Islam is Evil, but it was NEVER to counter an accusation against Christianity! However, AIG has countered accusations agains islam with attacks on Christianity on several (if not many) occasions... That is what makes no sense, and in my opinion worthy of a spell in the box.

Of course she's entitled to her opinion, but she tries to justify her religion by attacking another... it makes no sense, what about the rest of the world's umpteen milliion religions, if she's going to justify hers by attacking one, wouldn't logic dictate that the rest have to be attacked as well to further her argument?

That's still not it. AIG is like the little child who is chastized for doing something naughty and then justifes her actions by tattling on her friend. It does not justify anything, it only accuses another.

I guess drawing parallels between the two belief systems is rather pointless, but backing up a claim about quotes in one text, then countering with similar quotes in the other text is what debating is all about.

Just read the thread. She's pulling stuff out of context from the bible, using it as justification about christianity being evil, when half of it is either wrong, or ignored by the christian community at large. And, honestly, if I knew anything about Islam I'd probably jump down MRIH's throat when he did that shit too.
