You need to dig your thumb nail in right behind its head, then twist it off. Next put its abdomen ( severed neck end) up against your mouth, and squidge in all its insides. If you are really lucky it will be pregnant, and you'll get all those yummy sticky eggs. I haven't had that pleasure yet.

Eww, eww, eww.... that sounds and looks disgusting..... You seriously going to eat that? What is it again? It looks like a giant sea roach (ie. lobster or something).

Looks like you got the codes right. Now you need the address. The best way to get address of a photo is to right click on the photo. Then go down to properties. In the middle you will see the address. Just higlight, copy and paste in between the image codes. Your almost there. :p

Looks OK to me Sheik.

They used to sell great big black roaches (or maybe they were waterbugs) at the markets when I was staying in Laos. Since Laos and Thailand used to be what was Siam and their languages are pretty much the same, I'm sure their diets are pretty close. They also have a fruit there that they love that really stinks.

Thats where I went wrong. I was looking at the photo on the screen, and thought the address above. ie the http:// etc. was its address.

It was clearly not. Thanks Snaf.

I've heard about that fruit, though I've never smelled it myself. I like the rambuttans I tried there. My favourite oriental fruit really has to be lychees though.

Hows Turkey ? I loved my holiday there in 1989. I stayed in Fethiye. The lyceum tombs carved into the mountain face are awesome. I must go back one day.

Travel is a drug, dont you think ?

I haven't gotten out yet. But I'm planning on going the first of July. It's gonna be prime clam tides on the Fourth so I'll probably do that too.

Travel may be a drug, but I've gone through rehab. It's time to settle down. Turkey's great, but we're thinking about moving back to the US. There are some really great, historic places here. One area is Cappadocia - underground cities, early Christian churches (1st through about 3rd centuries) in caves, last known residence of Virgin Mary near Izmir. It's really amazing how much Christian history there is in a predominantly Muslim country. Then there's the Istanbul area with the Blue Mosque and Haija Sophia, Topkapi and Dolma Bachi (sp?) Palaces. Coastlines on three seas (Med, Aegean, Black).

It's been quite a few years since I was there, but I think that fruit smelled like something that was rotting.

The descriptions of the smell given to Thailand's popular fruit, the Durian, range from stale vomit ovelaid with rotting garbage, to smelly socks with turpentine dressing, yet despite this drawback, it has always been one of Asia's most popular fruits. And not only with locals. Many visitors from Europe, N. American and Australia have expressed their appreciation of this luscious gift from the orchards of Thailand and Malaysia.

Thai Fruit - The smelly Durian: Like smelly socks overlaid with vomit is only one description

The article talks about Durians coming from Thailand, but they're all over that part of the world.
