Umm...we don't really debate many things anymore, if anything. As I see it, GF is a sinking ship, threads get derailed left and right, and there's no moderation. Hey, phreak, if the site isn't moderated, why exactly do we need the mod ranking? Why don't we all just become regular members, since you and the rest of the Mods, as I see it, don't really do alot. You can say that you do, phreakwars, but you'd be bullshitting. You used to do things...now, you don't do shit, and the site has been going to shit because of it. If we don't get things moderated, GF will sink into obscurity...I can guarantee it. I can tell you that phreak is going to come on here and post some page-long schpiel about how the site is doing fine, how I'm a pion, and telling me to fuck off. Guess what, phreak? Nothing you can say will change the fact that GF is not doing as well as it once was. I know that I'm not going to renew my premium membership for the sheer fact that we aren't supporting just free speach anymore...we're supporting blatant ignorance and stupidity, and I'm not going to pay to support a site that hasn't dealt with the problems plagueing the members, the problems that they have seen and brought to your attention. As it is right now, there is nothing on this site that isn't getting derailed...everything is fair game, and that isn't debate, people, that is, in fact, a trainwreck of a lack of brain usage that results in mud-slinging and idiot-boxing. We need to fix this...

Um..JAW...i have never ever had a problem with you..but to complain that other people arent stepping up is ...well kinda redundant. This is a group effort..........meaning we all have to step in and step up to the plate to debate, create new topics, and expand on existing ones.

well, JAW is sort of right, so are the other guys, ive seen most of the threads derailed even some of my own. but he shouldnt complain about it, i was tought at a young age not to complain about things but to do something about them, so JAW, if you dont like the fact that some threads are derailed and there arent any debate threads, dont bitch about, do something.

 

for instance, start a debate thread, tell the asshole that derailed the thread not to derailed it, and challenge (or manipulate) others to make a debate thread

Im here about once a week (on average...sometimes more) and thats all it takes to miss some big fight and i have to search to find it!! (especially in the "box this person" messages)
