Ohhh boo hoo... this is the ramblings of an incredibly uninformed weak-minded easily-seduced lemming ready to jump off a cliff to their demise, because the Messiah said so.

Wow, how old are you?...

It's much easier to read fantasy than it is to read actuality.

What a comeback... But to entertain your silliness, I HATE fantasy and don't care for most fiction;)

I truly believe he is one of the very few politicians who decided to do what he does to make a difference and to be benevolent. Call me a fool or idealistic, but I truly believe that.

What has he done? Name something... not some dreamy bs about why he got into politics. Name something, anything! New or old, past or present! Tell me one good thing he has done.

"After four years in New York City, Obama moved to Chicago to work as a community organizer. The job focused on helping poor blacks agitate with the city government to get benefits for their communities such as job banks and asbestos removal. The small organization taught him a style of organizing developed by Saul Alinsky, a radical, University of Chicago-trained social scientist. Alinsky method centers on the idea of "agitation" ? encouraging people to get angry enough about the horrible state of their lives in order to get them to take action. Alinsky had desribed the organizer's role as an effort "rub raw the sores of discontent."

Kruglik's assessment of Obama: "He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. [...] [H]e could be aggressive and confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better."[26]

Obama came to believe that although Alinsky's concentration on self-interest as a motivating factor is a "critical" insight, he told Lizza, "Alinsky understated the degree to which people's hopes and dreams and their ideals and their values were just as important in organizing as people's self-interest."[26]

During his three years as the DCP's director, its staff grew from 1 to 13 and its annual budget grew from $70,000 to $400,000, with accomplishments including helping set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens."

I kind of guessed that you would bring his little community organizer position up. So, in response; with this as an example, how will this or instances similar be beneficial to the country?

Pretty much he wants to get things done. Even if he has to point out the ugly truths, even on his own people. That's one of the things that seems to have stung Mr. Jesse Jackson the other day. But you can't change things and work on them if you don't do that.

Well, if he can and is willing to do something like that on such a small scale with such few and limited resources, imagine what he can do as President of the United States, and with so many resources and tools to bring about change.

I see wez doesn't blindly follow him. Much of the country, including the extremely biased media, seem to think the Messsiah Obama doesn't have to deficate. That's for us mere mortals.

This will seem like deja vu if he is elected. He and a Dem controlled Congress will likely increase the size of government and the the budget several times over, all at the expense of you and I in income and payroll tax.

You realize that increase from 70,000 to 400,000 in it's budget, isn't money earned, right. It is at tax payer expense.

Nope.. I'm too old and cynical to be fooled anymore..

Rebublican + Democrat = Farce.

Yeah... Jesse Jackson calling Obama a N I G G E R is like the pot calling the kettle black.

Yeah... like tripling or quadrupling the national debt.

Swelling government's numbers by fifty percent.

The last thing we need is a bigger national debt and government personel, Bush the Younger has already accomplished that.

Much to the dismay of the bandwagoners, lemmings, et. al.; Obama's tenure will be likened to Bush the Younger's presidency and Jimmy Carter's term.

I don't blame Reagan as much as I blame Bush the Younger for the swelling of government.

Clinton didn't do too much himself to reduce it either.

At least the entire national debt got paid off and then some during his term..

I think Ronnie started the ball rolling with his stupid fukking war on drugs.. The invisible hand grew huge from his bull .. All while he claimed the opposite. He was prolly senile his last 6 years in office..

Though Ron didn't step in there and do it himself, but the " Second Cold War"(1979-85) ended with the Reagan presidency.
