ImWithStupid Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I just saw something about that trail. It's called the king's trail or something like that and was made to walk from one waterfall to another in Spain. Quote

wez Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Awww you're just doing it for the free lunch No way.. it'd be a blast. Looked like most of em were even wearing a safety line.. There was a path and stairs.. looked strong enough to me. Those metal pipes between the areas where the concrete was missing looked plenty sturdy.. what a cool place. Wonder where those doorways lead to? Quote

phreakwars Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I actually wouldn't fear falling off and dying/breaking my neck... life happens... I have a fear of heights and get sick and dizzy when I am up high like that. Wouldn't be able to maintain myself very well. If it wasn't for that, I'd be all for it. . . snafu Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Yeah, I'd crap myself too... LMAO! The wind would blow and I would fall. The safety line would break and I would fall all the way. Period! Guest sheik-yerbouti Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 YouTube - Hike The Most Dangerous Trail On Earth Just hold onto the "railing" and I'll buy us lunch when we get there. Railings ? You pussies ! Now here is a sporting climb in England's Lake District. As you climb towards Helvellyn you go over a pinnacle-ridge called Striding Edge with terrifying drops either side. No railings here ! A few years ago two guys were blown off to their deaths. I've never done it, and I'm tired of talking abou going to do it. I really must do it before I die. Here it is: YouTube - Helvellyn route Quote
Guest sheik-yerbouti Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Here is another frightener. Its a cave system called Gapping Ghyll. Its in Derbyshire England. I've done a little caving, but nothing like this. The cave is accessed by an immediate pitch. The pitch is about 350-400 feet. No one has a rope that long, so they set up a mechanised ride. emkay64 Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 Climbing I'd be fine with. Caving okay too as long as I can stand up in it. If I have to slither in crevices like a snake, it's panic time. Buried alive is my least favorite way to die. Quote

Its a popular walk in summertime Go here for more info. It takes a while to down load, but its worth it for the piccies : http://www.stridingedge.net/Lake%20District%20Features/Striding%20Edge.htm Quote
