Jhony5 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Absolutely but my dislike for making your child dress like an adult goes WAY beyond the fear of attracting sickos. I don't think its good for a child to sexualize them. All to true. If you teach your daughter to flaunt her goodies before she is anywhere near puberty, then...........well shes gonna be a whore. Or at least look like a whore. Which can be equally as bad. I think these 'pageant moms' think their child looks cute and fun in their outfits. But lethal ya hit it right on. Its sexualizing them. An indefensible action. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.
Hamza123 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Most 'Pageant moms' try to inflict the pains and losses of their childhoods on their children very selfishly... At least thats what it seems to me. The Ramseys flaunted the poor girl and now shes dead... Quote Taking it up the poopchute from Allah since 1990.
Jhony5 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 LOS ANGELES - John Mark Karr's relatives offered the movie and book rights to the family's story Wednesday in hopes of hiring a high-level attorney to defend the schoolteacher against charges he killed 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey. Karr's father and brother hired actor, author and producer Larry Garrison to represent them in any media deals and to help them find a top attorney to represent Karr, who is in a Los Angeles jail awaiting transfer to Colorado to face allegations he killed the girl in 1996. You've got to be fucking kidding me. The vultures are circling. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.

Lethalfind Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I saw today that Karr's request to wear street clothes in the court room was denied. They also stated that when he was on the long flight home he boarded the plane in a nice shirt and tie but once on the plane changed into something more comfortable, then before they landed, he changed back into his dress shirt and tie. He sounds a little too preoccupied with his clothes, its like he's thinking about the nice picture he is taking rather then the life he SAYS he took. I just love a womans point of view. I never even noticed what he was wearing. And why the hell did anyone notice his wardrobe? The guy is a child raping faggot murderer who wanted a sex change for Christ sake. We should all be more preoccupied with his crimes then what he had on. Would he look more guilty to you if he wore sweatpants and a stained T-shirt? I'm far more likely to believe someones confession then their denial. The more I hear about this freak show, the more I'm convinced he murdered the little girl. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.

Whats really disturbing is, odds are theres a child porn lovin' pedo living in your neighborhood. Not all dangerous (like theres a safe pedophile) pedophiles are registered sex offenders. If you get caught raping a child, your gonna be in trouble. If you get caught raping a child and selling him/her some pot, then your really in trouble. Don't believe me? Check your local drug laws. Some states however are finally getting with it and introducing legislature that is actually passing which dictates life imprisonment and even DEATH for first time offenders of raping a minor child under the age of 13. Twenty some odd years after states like Michigan introduced laws that drew mandatory minimum LIFE sentences for possession of a kilo or more of cocaine. Didn't help Pauly Klass any. Her killer had already been released after abducting and raping a little girl whom looked strikingly similar to her. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.

Sad part is I see him with his granddaughters alone there alot!!! I worked for the bastard and found out that he likes to touch ALOT...I could have gone to the cops after he grabbed my ass or my tit, but no I just basiclly told him "try that one again fucker...and you will find out how hard it is to grab asses with no fuckin hands" Needless to say he left me alone!! Lethalfind Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Law enforcement sources say that only about 40% of the people who are supposed to be registered as sex offenders are actually registered. So even if your judicious about checking the website for your state to see who is in your area, chances are there are people around not listed that are just as bad. The easiest way to register a convicted sex offender is to put him in prison. Easier to keep track of 'em that way. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.
somersetcace1 Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 This is becoming one of those issues that tends to lead to shaky ground real fast. There is no doubt in my mind that a person who commits crimes against other people, be they sexual in nature or not, needs to be locked up. I am particularly happy to see people who hurt children rot in prison, however, when it comes to registering as a sex offender there is a problem. I have no problem with a communities right to know who lives among them, however, like so many other good intentioned programs, this is yet another one being abused, mismanaged, and screwed up. The problem is in the definition of a "sex offender." When I think of a sex offender, I think of a rapist, pedophile, etc, however, the law is extending that dubious distinction to some pretty questionable things. case in point: An 18 year old in Kentucky is convicted of statitory rape, because the parents of his 16 year old girl friend were shocked to find that she was no virgin. HE, must register as a sex offender. That's bullshit. Quote

HE, must register as a sex offender. That's bullshit. This is a great point you bring up! I heard of a story (ill try and find the link to it) that blew me away. A high school teacher in, I think Maine, was having a consensual sexual affair with a student that was over 18 years of age. In Maine it is illegal for a public school teacher to have sex with a student, despite the age. Last I heard he was in jail awaiting trial and if convicted, would be a registered sex offender. I have also heard many cases brought up by the ACLU in which people over the age of 18 had unwittingly had sex with a minor. Forced to wear the label of sex offender despite their complete lack of knowledge that they were at the time committing a crime. Bullshit indeed! Quote i am sofa king we todd did.
Lethalfind Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 definition of a sex offender: "are offenders who have been sentenced for committing a sexual offense, have a past conviction for an offense involving sexually deviant behavior, have displayed sexually deviant behavior in the commission of any offense, or have admitted committing sexually deviant behavior. Sex offenders require a higher degree of supervision than other offenders do." www.dallascriminallawyer.com/texas_parole.html "sex offender n. generic term for all persons convicted of crimes involving sex, including rape, molestation, sexual harassment and pornography production or distribution. In most states convicted sex offenders are supposed to report to local police authorities, but many do not. " http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/sex+offenderSources=Sources | 4096 Attribution() This is the laws way of admitting that people who commit sex related crimes are not rehabilitated and need to be tracked, not just people who abuse children but anyone who indulges in a sexual crime. As for people sleeping with someone who SAYS they are of age when they are not...maybe people in general should be more careful who they sleep with so they will KNOW the persons age, rather then relying on word of mouth. Teenagers are notorious for lying... How do you know a teenager is lying? His lips are moving. I was in court (I worked for the police department at the time) one time and a defendant complained he didn't know what he had done was against the law...the judge said "ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it". That applies here as well. Ignorance of the persons actual age is no excuse. If you don't know a person well enough, to know if they are lying to you about their age, then you shouldn't be jumping into bed with them to begin with. If you do, then you deserve what you get. angie Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 That is bullshit. Say Joe Schmo meets 15 year old girl from another town. Joe is 18, hoochie mama is 15, but tells Mr. Joe Schmoe that she is 18, and she looks it. Hoochie mama's parents are careeraholics, are never around, and don't give a rat's ass what she does-until she gets knocked up. Then they are all up in arms about their little princess getting knocked up by an 18 year old. He serves his sentence, and has to live the rest of his life with the stigma of a sex offender. This is the reality of the world we live in. Most young girls look many years older than they are. Most kids' parents are too wrapped up in their own lives to monitor their children. Are guys supposed to start checking girls' IDs?? I don't buy that. My idea? Instead of making it a set age, put an age bracket. If they are within 3 years of each others' age, no offense. The way young girls dress and act, you can't always place the blame on the poor sucker who bangs her and ends up in prison. The parents just want someone else to place the blame on for them not doing their parental duties. An adult having sex with a minor is statitory rape and still requires that the offender register on the Sex Offender Registry. How many people who look at that site are actually going to take the time to look up what law they broke and find it was statitory? Not many.
