Exactly...

Olympic opening uses girl's voice, not face

Story Highlights

A Politburo member asked for the change to match girl's face with another's voice

The real voice behind the tiny, pigtailed girl in the red dress belonged to Yang Peiyi

Peiyi responded that just having her voice used for the ceremony was an honor

BEIJING, China (AP) -- A 7-year-old Chinese girl was not good-looking enough for the Olympics opening ceremony, so another little girl with a pixie smile lip-synched "Ode to the Motherland," a ceremony official said.

"The national interest requires that the girl should have good looks and a good grasp of the song and look good on screen," Chen said. "Lin Miaoke was the best in this. And Yang Peiyi's voice was the most outstanding."

I doubt that the part in red can be completely true. I'm sure she was glad they used her voice for the song but I think it's just that she has to, openly, back the decision, despite her true feelings, because she lives in a totalitarian society. How could any little girl actually be "ok" with the fact that her country got together and decided she wasn't cute enough? What a load of crap.

More evidence of the Chinese dishonesty with these Olympics. This one actually could affect the result of the women's gymnasticst though.

State-media story fuels questions on gymnast's age

By JOHN LEICESTER, Associated Press Writer

Thu Aug 14, 8:54 AM ET

BEIJING - Just nine months before the Beijing Olympics, the Chinese government's news agency, Xinhua, reported that gymnast He Kexin was 13, which would have made her ineligible to be on the team that won a gold medal this week. ADVERTISEMENT

In its report Nov. 3, Xinhua identified He as one of "10 big new stars" who made a splash at China's Cities Games. It gave her age as 13 and reported that she beat Yang Yilin on the uneven bars at those games. In the final, "this little girl" pulled off a difficult release move on the bars known as the Li Na, named for another Chinese gymnast, Xinhua said in the report, which appeared on one of its Web sites, ?»??????????::???????? ?????????????

The Associated Press found the Xinhua report on the site Thursday morning and saved a copy of the page. Later that afternoon, the Web site was still working but the page was no longer accessible. Sports editors at the state-run news agency would not comment for publication.

No lie..

A friend of mine told me a story of a beauty queen he met at Chilkoot Charlie's and took her home. The next morning he woke up to a 200 pound, one legged midget with one clean tit.

So your friend only had the decency to suckle on one tittie? What a loser...

I disagree. From those pics I just saw, I think the real voice girl is cuter, besides her teeth... But even considering her teeth, she's still cuter. The other girl looks like those fake, robot girls in the making with no genuine personality.
