Debate This Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 [/url]AP - Israeli commandos raided a Hezbollah stronghold deep inside Lebanon Saturday, sparking a fierce clash with militants that left one Israeli soldier dead. Lebanon called the raid a "flagrant violation" of the U.N.-brokered cease-fire, while Israel said it was aimed at disrupting arms smuggling from Iran and Syria. Hamza123 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Thats what you get for fucking around and trying to break a ceasfire that took innocent lives on both sides... bitch. Quote Taking it up the poopchute from Allah since 1990.
Jhony5 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 There is no such thing as a cease fire to the Muslim/Jew conflict. Only periods of reloading. Its always been this way. Isreal is foolish for not having torn Lebenon to the ground. They will never succeed in riding the world of Hezbolah if they go about it with diplomacy. Islam deflects diplomacy with their many copies of the Qu'ran. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.
Hamza123 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Israel is foolish for even thinking it could declare a state over palestinian land... Hezbollah fought Israel and did what Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Others could not do... Lets see here... If you wanna' talk war? Lets talk war. Killed Civlians = - Points Killed Soldiers in Combat = + Points --------------------------------------------- Israel killed 1,064 civilians... Of the 1,181 people killed in Lebanon so far, at least 1,064 of them (90%) are Lebanese civilians, of which a third are children. Israel killed 100 Hezbollah soldiers Total Score: -964 --- Hezbollah killed 39 Israeli Civilains (Almost half of the civilian deaths are Arab.) Hezbollah killed 117 Israeli Soldiers Total Score: +78 Israel: -964 Hezbollah: +78 ------------------------------------------------------------- Playing around with a body count is pretty fucking inhumane eh? Well, clearly you see whos killed more civilias as apposed to people killed in battle. I say justifying Israel's actions is pretty fucking... inhumane. OmegaManiac Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 A man was walking along the road one day and as he enjoyed his walk he looked down only to see two hornets that had each other in deathgrips. As the traveler watched these two desperate insects fighting and buzzing about on the ground for some time the thought came to him that perhapse he could stop this violent behavior by teaching them to be more tolerant of each other. So the man layed down his rucksack filled with food that he had gathered to feed his family, knelt down by the two warring bugs and proceeded to carefully pick them up from the ground. Once he had them in his hand he gently pulled them apart and spoke soothing words to calm them. For a moment it seemed that this was working well, then the hornets both stung the traveler, showing complete disreguard for his good intentions. As luck would have it the traveler was allergic to hornet stings and died a painful death right there and just before the lights went out the last thing he saw was the two hornets resume their fight with each other as if there had been no interuption. Later another man came upon the body of the dead traveler, then noticed the two hornets on the ground fighting. The man then stomped on the hornets killing them both instantly, took the rucksack and valuables from the pockets of the dead man, and walked home to feed his family. Moral of the story, if I have to explain it then you probably wont ever get it, but I will be happy to walk along behind you from the market. Quote
Hamza123 Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Hmm, thats a nice story... Really. In the current context? Well, one of the hornets would have to be invading and killing the other hornets nest and fellow hornets... Quote Taking it up the poopchute from Allah since 1990.

Have you stopped to think about things in a different light, one that was not pushed on you since you were a child? I was brain-washed with religion (thank god it didn't work) just as you were. You are SO sure Islam is the way, BUT only because of the brain washing you have been given since you sprang from the womb. Dare to think that maybe the way you were raised is not the right way, open your mind to the posibility that your parents didn't know everything. Of course most parents do the best they can, I don't fault them for that, but that doesn't mean its the best or right way. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.

Hamza123 Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Hamza, do you ever stop to realize you parrot what you were raised in? My dad was not strict with Islam, he prayed, so did my mom and we all fasted. However my mom did not wear the Hijab and we did not attend mosque regularly... Have you stopped to think about things in a different light, one that was not pushed on you since you were a child? Yes, I like to think of all perspectives... But aside from my religion, if I were an Islamophobic american like most here, I wouldn't believe what my government told me because if they were telling the truth they would actually be succeeding in Iraq right now and not just telling us they are. Pick up a Qur'an and read it for yourself, don't let other read it for you. You are SO sure Islam is the way, BUT only because of the brain washing you have been given since you sprang from the womb. Why are you so sure about that ? Why do you question the ways of us moderates ? Why do you make us seem like the enemy ? And no, actually I have never said Islam is the way... Islam is only one of the ways. I have a strict policy about any decent person will not grieve after they die... Islam or no Islam. Dare to think that maybe the way you were raised is not the right way, open your mind to the posibility that your parents didn't know everything. My parents would not be considered Muslims in the eyes of an extremist simply because they are not extreme. My parents never spoon fed me my knowledge of Islam, unlike the Bush Administration, and unlike many people, I don't believe that "Jesus is the only way"... Infact, my parents simply split when I was 5 or so, and thats "Un-Islamic"... They never even had a proper Islamic divorce. They just thought it was best. Also, my step-father is a Christian Lebanese... We all accept him, so do my uncles and aunts, so do my grandparents. I don't believe anyone really thinks with an open mind right off the bat, but I would say I am pretty open-minded. I was raised in the western world after all. Of course most parents do the best they can, I don't fault them for that, but that doesn't mean its the best or right way. Have you ever looked twice at a person just because they were wearing Hijab? Have you ever travelled and seen Arabian looking people held back? Have you ever blaimed someone for 9/11 simply because their proclaimed religious status is Islamic? It's happened to the Chinese, East Indians, Japanese, Germans, Italians, and it's hit Arabs. Perhaps some of us need to check who we have elected. For if we proclaim that we think with an open mind, why have we elected a caucus of people who think from one side of the mind? Quote Taking it up the poopchute from Allah since 1990.
