LOS ANGELES (Sept. 11) - A 22-year-old woman in the United States is publicly auctioning her virginity to pay for her college education, sparking a heated online debate about sex and morality.

The student from San Diego, California, who is using the pseudonym Natalie Dylan for "safety reasons," said she had no moral dilemma with her decision and found it "empowering."

Wow, what can I say.... I'd hit it, doubt I have the cash to afford her though.

My belief structure does not allow for selling sex but on a more general observation outside my beliefs we can see a valuable lessone here:

A fine example of saving for a rainy day.

She now has something considered valuable and can make a great deal of money from it. Not to mention that most girls lose it in a 3 minute clumsy mess where she gets nothing out of the deal, at least now she stands a chance of getting a guy who is experienced enough to make this first time something good to remember instead of just "getting it over with".

It sounds skanky to me. There are tons of other ways to pay for college. This is taking the easy, sleazy way out. I don't know about you guys, but someone who is willing to do something like this (and sounding so non-chalant and money-hungry about it), I don't think I could even take their word that they are a virgin. I know people that have lied about being virgins and they were quite the opposite.

I also agree with this guy - "What disgusts me about this whole thing is the fact that she is promoting it so heavily. It seems less about having some guy pay for her virginity and more about trying to get her 15 minutes and a reality show," said a blogger called "Ent Lawyer."

It sounds dirty to me. Her body, her choice I guess. The reality is this isn't going to be some prince charming all concerned about making her feel good It will likely be some rich old perv that climbs on op top to "git er done". As for the fumblings and three minutes it usually takes...at least most girls at the time kind of like the guy first. Maybe she can just forgo the education, and be a prostitute instead. Oh Well....I guess maybe I could fuk a gargoyle with old balls, once for a ton of cash and an education...if I was a hosebag.

Hmm, for the price the buyer will more then likely have to spend, I would sure hope it would be longer then 3 damn minutes.

I mean hell, if I paid some girl say $100,000 to take her virginity, I'm absolutely gonna work that hole.. I'd have to like prepare in advance by jerking off in the shower to get rid of the expendable load, then probably get semi drunk, and lets not forget lube here... 3 minutes? AHH HELL NO !!

I'm betting she ain't a virgin. I ain't no prude but the crudity of our society is starting to annoy me.

Wow....you are a real wordsmith LOL. That kinda sweet talking would just melt her panties off. The 3 minutes I was referring to was to TJ that said most girls lose their virginity in 3 minutes to a young guy and don't enjoy it.

I have no doubt it'll take forever, and the dude that pops her cherry will likely need a viagara for the stamina. Blegh! The thought makes my skin crawl.

It annoys me also when I click through the cable channels and every other channel has a show whose primary purpose is simply to display some bimbo or bimbos body. Who the hell watches that crap?

Sadly Hugo...a lot! It is a real problem. Girls, especially young ones have no real role models except for morons like Paris Hilton who have never worked or stood for any morality....I don't think she stands for much she usually is on her back. The fact of the matter is that the women on TV are usually slamhounds who've given more rides than greyhound and look the part as well. When did brains become so out of style?

Somewhere between the '50's and today we passed the golden mean. I've got like a 100 cable channels but there are only about 4 I watch, the rest are either bimbo or shopping channels. If it was up to me I would cancel our cable. The day History channel does a bio on Paris Hilton cable goes whether the rest of the family likes it our not.

One channel featuring Salma Hayek running around naked would be enough.

I have two young girls. The stakes have never been higher. They don't get to watch much TV, and I keep them busy with sports. As much as I despise the show Hannah Montana, at least she doesn't look like a slut and her parents seem to make smart choices that keep her in a positive light. It's funny you mentioned four channels...we have satellite TV and tend to watch the History channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, National geographic and a few others.

Last night while perusing the channels, Craig found a show called "Hole in the Wall". A reality show where celebrity sluts have to try squeeze their bodies through tiny crevices. No fukking joke! This is on TV. Who comes up with this crap?

I must confess...I do enjoy Wipeout....just because my perverse sense of humor enjoys watching people fall down. :D

I'd let her blow me for free. Oh wait you mean she wants the money?

I have a 10 year old myself and I worry about her role models, that is another big reason I am so supportive of Sarah Palin for the VP slot. We need to start showing our young girls that there is another way to be accepted and successful other than being a slut or a floor mat (like Hillary).

And I will agree witht he rest of you, Salma Hayek is hot, I hate skinny, super thin chicks.

Sarah Palin is okay, but she's old. It would be nice to have some younger role models, with some values and style that they can emulate. I have an 8 and a 6 year old....who can they look up to other than their Mom?

While I find a lot of what Sarah Palin has accomplished very commendable, I disagree with a LOT of her views. I also don't think Hillary is a floor mat. I think she has stuck around with Bill for calculated reasons and not because she is a floor mat. Are we speaking about the same woman?? She is the furthest from demure and the type to letting people take advantage of her. I don't think she cares too much that Bill cheats anymore, just that he keeps getting caught and it getting aired out by the media.

Well for a starter, other moms like Sarah show what a 'woman' can achieve without ever being a slut or a door mat. I was against Hillary because of her liberal politics but also because she was not a good role model for my daughter. Hillary allowed herself to be walked all over by her husband having affairs with anything that would hold still for three minutes. Hillary sold her self-respect for a chance to be successful at politics.

Sure, younger women are needed as well but sometimes we have to take it one step at a time and get what we can, when we can. I am hoping this mother of 5 who has been successful in everything from beauty pagents to basketball, to hunting, to politics, can rub off on the younger women and that will possibly rub off on the older girls who might be looking at where they can possibly go with their lives.

Young boys sometimes say they would like to be President when they grow up, wouldn't it be nice to have girls say the same thing? I know I want that for my daughter.

TJ- And just how do you know Sarah Palin was never a slut or used her looks to get where she is, etc.? Actually, many people (including myself) believe those are the main and only reasons why she was picked as the VP candidate for McCain because she is a woman and not bad looking. Think about it. The other candidates seemed to be a lot more qualified than her. McCain needed an edge to compete against the radical new concept that Obama brought to the table- being the first part black man to have a real chance at the Presidential office.

Also, she might be a great role model in your eyes and all, but her own daughter still ended up getting pregnant as a teenager.

Barack Obama as President would make a great role model for young black males which is the demographic group most in need of a role model.

Could we have one debate/discussion without bringing up the Presidential race?

Well assumptions can be made in a lot of directions, but just because your assmuptions are taking the negative road, that does not mean your right. Her long history of involvement in the PTA and volunteering before being pressed into running for public office seems like a natural one step to the next process to me.

Why can't a pretty woman be smart or successful without other women calling her morals into question? Is it really so impossible to believe that a beautiful woman could earn something?

Let's remember that she still has a husband to go with all those kids, very solid of her considering single, never wed mothers are the fastest growing segment of our society.

Think about it. The other candidates seemed to be a lot more qualified than her. McCain needed an edge to compete against the radical new concept that Obama brought to the table- being the first part black man to have a real chance at the Presidential office.

Unlike liberals, I don't think his color is a qualification to being President, I hope Americans are less impressed at this accident of birth than you are.

Concerning her being qualified, name for me one person who was both more qualified and had a history of reform like McCain.

Also, she might be a great role model in your eyes and all, but her own daughter still ended up getting pregnant as a teenager.

And that meant what exactly?

You think girls who get pregnant all have bad parents?

What shows Sarah as a great role model is how she stood by her daughter and helped her to make the right decision to not kill a life that had done nothing wrong. Sarah's convictions and high moral stength is the very definition of being a great parent.

I don't know if you have children but you can't live your children's lives for them, you can do your best to teach them right from wrong but rarely do children truly listen 100% to what their parents tell them. Most kids have to go out and learn for themselves.

Let me give you an example:

Learning to walk, we can hold their hands only so long, sooner or later you have to let them try on their own and pick them up when they fall.

Ya' know....I was really happy we could finally have a discussion that didn't focus on the fukking political race. I am so sick of hearing all their names I feel like I'm getting ear fukked with a chopstick. Gawdammit!

In all honesty....I don't think aspiring to be a President isn't all that commendable. I'd rather them want to be a strawberry than president of the United States.
