I personally think, that this particular group is largley the victim of poor social oportunities, and they blame most of thier problems on black people for lack of a better scapegoat... You have to understand... after the Civil War, the ancestors of most of these people where forced, under reconstruction, to live besides the very people they were trying to keep separate from... It was these ancestors that fed them most of the beliefs they hold so dear today...

IQ is relative... You go to deep Africa and compare yourself to what they need to know to get along and you'd look like a moron too..

That's because those scores are skewed by the many more who succeed in society.. I bet even less on that scale would be American Indians.. who's way of life was incredible and sustainable before Europeans like myself came over here and slaughtered them to near extinction like we did the bison.. We took away everything they knew.. and claimed ownership over all the resourses they needed to survive and threw them on reservations.

 

Now they are mainly thought of as drunks and problems in our society. "Drunkin' Indian" is built into our culture..You should see the squalor in our reservations.. Make a ghetto look like Beverly Hills.. even after all the casino's went up.. Hard to undo hundreds of years of history overnight, but things will slowly get better for them.. I hope.
