I respect you as a poster going back to he wpyo days. You weren't here when the first banning of tj went down. Believe me Bender didn't just ban him on a whim this time. The same things that caused his banning before was starting over again. I'll give tj this. He is the person responsible for our rules. Unfortunately for him he interprets them differently than everyone else. I don't want to ever have to ban anyone. In this case neither IWS, Bender or myself could take the bs any more. The ultimate goal of tj is to get rid of wez. The rules were set in place and are enforced equally for everyone. Wez was banned, idiot boxed and censored. This of course was never enough for tj. When we had enough we banned him. Everything ran well until tj came back. My iniatial reaction when I saw tj was unbanned was to ban him again outright. Especially after the way he bad mouthed this site as well as saying it would go downhill with gone and wez remaining. You know what? The site actually became more active with users coming back that were run off by the constant tj rants against wez. They spilled to every thread.

 

Now here's the deal. You have posted at other forums that this forum is a deadzone and that people shouldn't waste their time here. Yet as soon as the ban is lifted you're back. Then when you're banned for the same reasons a second time you continue to hang on by posting in the guest forum. My advice is to leave and go back to the utopia of your forum if you really run one.

As Cloaked said, many of the rules here are because of my input, without me the rules would not exist, now all we have to do is get the staff to actually enforce the rules for Wez like everyone else.

I made a choice to let the staff know what they were ignoring in Wez when it was clear they would not take action to do anything with him. By offering them the same kind of frustration the rest of us were facing from Wez I had hoped they would start to understand what were were going through and start moderating the site.

 

While I was successful in showing them the same frustration we felt, they still just limited their reaction to it by only relieving their frustration but decided the rest of the members did not deserve the same consideration.

 

What can anyone in this world do but make the best move tword change they possibly can? The greatest leaders of our Nation were opposed with tremendious resistance but what made them great is they did not give in to popular pressure to give up.

Actually Bender is the whiny bitch, he could not stand up to a man to man debate on his actions and ran away screaming and crying about how mean I was to him and how he could not stand up to me. He dodged and ducked me at every turn and when I cornerd him to force him to answer, he did the untimate bitch move and banned me so he would not have to face me.

I would even venture a step further and say that some of this is because of Benders and my run-ins in the past. Wez doesn't bother Bender, but anyone with two fake eyes could see wez constantly baiting and attacking me. Bender likely sees it as me getting what I deserve for past issues (whether it be the chatroom security leak, the suggestions I made at GF, or maybe he sees me as part of the bringing down of GF when Nazz bought it. or maybe it's something completely different.) I dunno. I know Phreakwars would see it that way, though.

 

Maybe my time here is best spent in the arcade for now. My personality has always been fair is fair, and when one admin flat out says that he lets one individual get away with anything, and that "anything" usually involves attacking me, then maybe I should just refrain from giving the attacker the necessary ammo by being active.

And oddly enough, the OPPOSITE is true on THIS particular site. I would have NEVER considered IWS as a MOD candidate on GF simply because he is TOO FAIR, and with say R.O. I would be somewhat sceptical making him a MOD here.

 

My motivations for banning TJ are quite simply because of the overall arrogance he exhibits towards the way we run the site.

When it comes to WEZ, I ignore his BS because I am used to his BS. I am NOT the moderator of this site, IWS is. I handle site problems, not member problems. If IWS tolerates him without banning him, then that's his call.

I concur with most of what Bender said here. As for GF, he's dead on. Even though I wasn't banned there I remember being "Idiot Boxed" and such by damn near every mod there except Tori, for little or nothing, and never once complained. It was just the way things went.

 

As for these recent threads here dealing with wez, TJ and eddo for the most part with others chiming in with their opinions, if they wanted to participate in the nonsense, and it kept for the most part contained to about two threads, I really didn't care.

 

As for the whole wez v. TJ thing. One thing I learned long ago, and I think OS has come to the conclusion is that basically wez and TJ are the same. They both continue to prove that they have the self control of a two year old when it comes to adult interaction. Neither have the ability to agree to disagree, or respect that someone may have another point of view/belief/conviction from them and nothing they say can change that and both feel the need to have the last word.

 

The difference however is that wez is able to grasp the concept that he isn't in control of everything, including how this site is ran, and someone else may just want things the way they want them regardless.

 

Now here is the part wher TJ proves this point by reading into this post that I just proved that he was banned for nothing he did and only a conflict between he and the staff. Let me say this one more time, the first time he was banned wasn't because the last post he made, as he would like everyone to believe, but it was his continued challenge to how the site was run, his continued attempts to moderate from a member postition, his continued whining and complaining, and his continued attacks at the staff that would not have been tollerated for months as it was here on any other site, because as much as he refused to accept, it's an internet site and the welfare of the site is formost over that of an individual poster and the fact that members came back to the site who were run off by the antics that he was part of, the site grew new productive members while his absence and things were smooth between even wez and eddo while he was gone show where the issue was.

 

As for the return of TJ and his subsequent return to the land of ban, he showed he was unable or unwilling to get past his own delusion that his own antics were part of his first ban and that him bringing up the issue after given a second chance and showing that he had every intention of continuing to attempt to challenge the staff and try to moderate from the point of a member led to his second banning.

 

This all being said. I like TJ. He needs to keep his BS issues somewhere else, this site isn't going to tolerate the drama or challenge to the way it is supposed to run, no matter what the rules. As with any rule it's subject to discretion of those in charge of enforcement. Deal with it or don't plan to come back here.

But, I am not really the out of control wacko I showed them after they refused to do anyhting productive with Wez, I knew I could not debate with a Wez style of complete forum disruption so I figured cut and run or stay and fight for what is right.............I decided to fight.

 

I decided to fight because I did start to care about the forum and I was always tought that if you care about something and see things that are wrong, speak up, take action, make your voice heard.

 

 

If the staff decided bringing in dirty laundry from other forums was okay, fine change the rule, but the rule says no, and Wez still is given full freedom to do it any time he wants. These two things don't go together and I speak about that fact.

 

 

While this is not comparable on scale, there have been many times in history "complainers" were capable of bring needed change by virtue of never allowing those in power to silence them. Movements that made blacks free and women the right to vote were started by lone voices with massive opposition. Change is something all humans resist and they will tend to not change even if they know they should untill there is no other choice.

 

 

In this case, they can avoid change because of their choice to ban me but what I had to say is still in their minds and it will linger there and possibly some day they will decide to do the right thing.

I am a very strong conservative similar to IWS only he backs down and softens his tone when the libs complain about labeling them or how it is not fair for him to point fingers, etc....

 

 

But, I am not really the out of control wacko I showed them after they refused to do anyhting productive with Wez, I knew I could not debate with a Wez style of complete forum disruption so I figured cut and run or stay and fight for what is right.............I decided to fight.

 

I decided to fight because I did start to care about the forum and I was always tought that if you care about something and see things that are wrong, speak up, take action, make your voice heard.

 

 

If the staff decided bringing in dirty laundry from other forums was okay, fine change the rule, but the rule says no, and Wez still is given full freedom to do it any time he wants. These two things don't go together and I speak about that fact.

 

 

While this is not comparable on scale, there have been many times in history "complainers" were capable of bring needed change by virtue of never allowing those in power to silence them. Movements that made blacks free and women the right to vote were started by lone voices with massive opposition. Change is something all humans resist and they will tend to not change even if they know they should untill there is no other choice.

 

 

In this case, they can avoid change because of their choice to ban me but what I had to say is still in their minds and it will linger there and possibly some day they will decide to do the right thing.

 

I can hope my energy will one day lead tword change.
