somersetcace1 Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 My wife is a soldier here in Germany, making me a "military spouse," here on what's called a "command sponsorship." I got arrested a few months back for possession of hashish. (a misdemeanor here.) I got a fine, and got sent on my way. The civil misconduct officer on the base here, gave me some punitive measures as well. Okay, fine, but he also took my drivers license saying that the germans and the european command would be suspending it. Well, they never did. They aren't going to, but I still can't drive, because this dickless wonder still has my license and wont give it back because he thinks my license SHOULD have been suspended. He doesn't have that fucking right though, so I went to the military lawyer who said.."Yeah, I can get your license back, but if we anger this man, he can cancel your command sponsorship and force you back to the states." WTF??????? So, yeah, I'm pissed to the fucking limit of being pissed. Give me back my fucking drivers license, you uptight, slack jawed, drooling, inbred, shit licking, dog fucking hunk of maggot infested pig guts! Quote
Mohammed_Rots_In_Hell Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 It seems that you could get a replacement license as long as it hasn't been revoked or suspended... Quote The first amendment provides our constitution with its voice. The second amendment provides its teeth.
somersetcace1 Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 It seems that you could get a replacement license as long as it hasn't been revoked or suspended... I would have to fill out a form stating that I "lost" my license, complete with last time I remember seeing it, etc. The rules for american military living overseas are kind of strange. If it was then found out that I didn't actually lose it, and that I only applied for a replacement so as not to piss someone off, I could really get in alot of trouble. The main thing is, that while this moron doesn't have the right to take my license, he does have the right, on a whim, to make my wifes life rather miserable, so I'm kind of at his mercy. It's just one of those catch 22 things. I'll get over it. Quote

somersetcace1 Posted August 26, 2006 Author Posted August 26, 2006 You are a fucking moron, the “MAN” has every right under the sun to do what ever he wants to do to you because you fall under the SOFA, additionally he can have you shipped back to the states no questions asked. You are a dependant of a US military service member, you have no rights and the military could give a shit less if you are there because you are a fucking burden and not Mission essential you fuck-stick First of all, under the SOFA agreement, I fall under German jurisdiction, which is why I was fined by the Germans. Second of all, No, by the way, the civil misconduct officer actually can't do much. He makes suggestions that commanders either follow or not. Usually they do however, and there is where the power comes from. If you're going to go off on me, at least know what the fuck you're talking about. That’s right smack-head, you are a dependant of your wife, who is a member of the US armed services, she is responsible for you and your actions. By getting arrested for Hash you have jeopardized her military carrier. Fucking learn the system and the military or get the fuck back to the states were you can be a retard at your own pace. And in case you didn’t know because you are a military dependant on a US military installation abroad you are subject to US law & UCMJ fuck stick, and last time I check the military has a zero tolerance for drug use. I'm also a veteran, and was digging fox holes before most of these pups were out of diapers, and I know the system, apparently alot better than you do. Family members do NOT fall under UCMJ, and while Family members in Germany, on military installations CAN fall under US law, they are usually handed over to German authorities as per the current SOFA agreement. The big deal is that command sponsorships are just that, and can be terminated on a whim. Note: mine has not. It hasn't, because my wifes commander has a bit more of clue than you do. Not only that, I can do all the drugs I want to. The military couldn't care less, as long as I do so legaly. In other words, dipshit, if a family member goes to Amsterdam and sits around smoking hash all day, the us military couldn't care less. What they care about is family members breaking the law. Which I did, and paid the consequences for. I'm not complaining about the consequences. At least not the reasonable ones that anyone would have to pay. Note: I fucking hate military dependants, they are more problem then they are worth, all you do is bitch, fuck the neighbors, drink and cause general hardship for soldier, sailors and airmen who are all ready dealing with shit you will never understand. You're right. Then again, as a soldier, what did we do on OUR off time? Bitch, fuck anything that moved, drink, and cause mayhem. You think dependents fill up blotter reports? You're really fucking clueless if you think that. Not only that, any soldier can requst their dependents be sent home, or even not request they be brought over in the first place. So, what the fuck are you bitching about? It's not like dependents make an evil pact with satan to get over here against their sponsors will. LOL Quote

Just fill out the fucking paperwork! Tell them that the last place you saw it was in this guys office! Are you sure you are smart enough to drive? Maybe you need to be grounded. Tell them that the last place you saw it was in this guys office! Are you sure you are smart enough to drive? Maybe you need to be grounded. I can tell them all sorts of shit. I can tell them an islamic midget pickpocketed it. My point is, if you look at the rest of my post, is that it's not worth the risk. It's not like losing your stateside license. A military POV license is considered a security risk, and falsifying forms is a serious offense. Let's just say that I'd get in less trouble by walking into the garrison commanders office with a bong and bag of pot. Eventually, this guy will send the license back to the dmv, and they'll send it back to me. It just pissed me off that this guy, like this other moron nazzneg apparently, thinks they are the fucking commander and chief, and want to make up rules as they go along. Again, like I said, I'll get over it. What I wont get over, it seems, is bitching about it here. You should rename this forum as "Tell us what pisses you off, so we can bash you over the head about it!" heh ;-) Quote

Now he has to deal with American military rederic. That's just how it is in the military. I didnt' understand it at the time either. But it works.
