DaMan Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I visit BroadBand Reports daily. I've been a member there for 10 years. In 10 years I only have 800 posts on the forums. I only post when I can be helpful and even then only if the problem hasn't been solved by others. Most of my posts are in the Microsoft forum or one of the other tech related forums. I have posted in the Comcast forum maybe 10 times. Every single post I made in that forum is edited or removed by the moderator. She is the definitive forum nazi. If there is one thing most of you know about me I will not post in any forum I belong to unless I have something useful to add or can help someone with a problem. I have never had a problem with any admins or mods on any site except for the Comcast forum on Broadband Reports. The first time one of my posts was removed I re-read the forum charter to make sure I didn't break any rules. After the next few times she did it I put her on ignore because she would always post a side note in any post she edited. I posted today for the first time in a while. Of course my post was again edited. Since I had here on ignore I couldn't she sent me a PM telling me she edited my post. I was furious. If a mod on one my sites did what she does they wouldn't be a mod for long. It's one thing to have rules, it's another making them up as you go. If any of you visit the site make sure you watch what you do. The forum nazi supreme is roaming the halls there. Quote
