Yes, I know it was supposed to be a joke, but there is no punchline, just a silly comparison and it's only funny if you want to make 2 non related thing similar, even then, your only laughing about the non related thing and not the original intended target. In other words, not funny except among yourselves because it made no sense, it doesn't have to be a damn political perspective, it was just an observation.
