snafu Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I feel the only time there is a need to kill someone is to save another. Although I wouldn't be this drastic (I don't like jail) I feel no remorse for this asshole. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's just insane!" RoyalOrleans Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Also possibly putting an end to the life of future tax BURDENS. Perfect government slaves or captains of industry, we will never know. How much money could we save on welfare if single moms were required to abort? There wouldn't be as many blacks, I tell you what. How much could we save if illegal immigrants had kids aborted instead of being anchor babies? . . I'd rather see them aborted than to be used as anchors. RoyalOrleans Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Ok... so that some of my statements above are not misconstrued. I was playing devil's advocate, because you people know how much ol' Lucifer and I like to party. Here are my thoughts on the matter... Abortion will never be illegal throughout the United States, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned. The majority of the people in this country are in favor of a woman's right to chose whether or not she will have a child. Overturn Roe v. Wade and all you accomplish is placing the issue back with the states and state legislatures. Oh, to be sure, there will be a few states that will outlaw abortion. Others may put some additional restrictions on the procedure. All that will be accomplished there would be to make it difficult for poor women to travel to another state to get the procedure done. This will result in more children being born to a woman who: (a) don't want them (b) can't raise them properly For the rest, it will simply be a matter of getting in a car or on an airplane and traveling to the neighboring state where the procedure remains legal. Give it up, folks. There are issues we face in this country that are far, far more important than abortion ... and all of your protests aren't going to make a difference anyway. Let's concentrate on things such as the rule-of-law, property rights, and lessening the grasp that big government has on our lives. Kelo vs. New London is far more important to Americans than Roe v. Wade. Quote To be the Man, you've got to beat the Man. - Ric Flair Everybody knows I'm known for dropping science.

Depending on the poll, there is only a couple percentage points either way. Some polls like Gallup have it against abortion and others like Pew have it for. Quote

I would not allow my UNDERAGE daughter get an abortion, because of the convenience of it all. Not to be a burden on her, but a lesson on her to act responsibly. With a little faith, she will make the right decision to keep the child. Once my hypothetical daughter turns eighteen and is out from under my thumb, she can do what she wants to do with her body. Just because I am a MAN, doesn't make me right. And perhaps the government will take issue with all the ink on my body someday. I am a fence-straddler when it comes to this issue, because I believe whole-heartedly that a grown, legal woman can do what she wants with her body. Moreover, the government should have no say in the issue either. Let the adults decide and live with the guilt of ending a child's life. snafu Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 That's the whole debate about Pro Choice. It's not her body I'm concerned about. That's like the old addage " I brought you into this world and I can take you out". It's ilegal to do it later why should it be legal just because the head hasn't come out? In that context I guess we could take a brat you're tired of, shove his head up the old ladies twat and stick a knife in his spine. phreakwars Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Is Pro-Life really the label we need to give anti-abortionists? It seems to me they should be called Pro-NO CHOICE. Obviously they can't be PRO-LIFE if they feel they need to commit acts of terrorism and murder Dr.'s. . . Quote https://www.facebook.com/phreakwars
