Ya think? What do YOU think would happen if we weren't getting all that Canadian oil like we do now? We wouldn't be as high and mighty as we think we are, that's for sure.

You realize that we have plenty of oil ourselves. Possibly more than Canada and Mexico. Maybe we'd feel the need to go after it.

We pay the same for Canadian and Mexican oil as we do for any other oil.

We're saving ours for later.

But then that would call for drilling because of need, not political reasons, and you know America, no matter how much they say "DRILL BABY DRILL" to sway a vote, would NEVER go for that.

Around 70% of the American people are for it, but the squeaky minority holds the will of the majority hostage using the court system.

American would go for it. The American far left won't.

Oh come on now, don't make this a LEFT .VS RIGHT issue, you know damn well I'm correct on this. In as much as the GOP can scream DRILL BABY DRILL, when it comes right down to it, no frikken way are they gonna do it so willingly. That's all political fodder hype. Opec/Exxon/etc.. runs the show, not the voters. If anything can be said about the politicians, the oil companies grease the right a bit more then the left and it's only for tax cuts, not because it would be in any interest of the American people.

I'm not making it a left v. right thing. You know damn well that if the enviro-nazis didn't litigate domestic oil exploration out of the realm of what is feaseable, the oil companies would be pumping the hell out of domestic crude.

Ha, I say the environazi's are WORKING for the oil companies to drive up the price. No way in hell are the left innocent in the cookie jar dipping scheme of being so "AGAINST" hurting the environment. You'd have to be a hard core leftist idiot on pot to think otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I think we should save the environment, if anything, so we can all breathe better, not because I personally give a damn about the planet.

What is funny is the one nation we don't trade with (exploit according to leftists) is begging us to do so.
