Ahhlee Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I am disgusted, nay, APPALLED at the behavior I witnessed last night. My town is close to an Air Force base (we gots lots of nukes up here in ND) so it is common for military personnel to travel through and stop at various businesses. My summer restaurant happens to be a favorite hot spot and last night we had several military vehicles stop to order food. One thing I appreciate about the Air Force folks is that they are always polite and friendly. They are great customers and I thank them by offering them a 10% discount on their purchases. The group last night was especially friendly and as I was helping some of them, a loud, pimped up truck drove by and the passengers yelled out "FUK OFF, FLYBOYS!!!!" followed by laughing, shooting the bird, and more "Fuk you's". The group of men I was waiting on held their ground and their heads high. One muttered, "wow" under his breath but that was all. I apologized to them for what had transpired and said, "Those kids are a bunch of rotten brats. Please don't let them get to you and thank you so much for serving our country." Then we finished waiting on them and they all came back and said the food and service was fantastic and that they would definitely be back. I was happy to hear it. I know exactly who was in that vehicle and they ARE rotten brats. They've all been in trouble at school and with the law before and their parents have gotten them out of punishment every...single...time. None of them have jobs and they're all getting fat from sitting around and smoking pot all day. The fact that the liberties of these gutless, brainless, pampered buttheads are being protected by the very men and women they dared to taunt, well that just pisses me off to no end. When I see those kids pull in next time, I am refusing to serve them, telling them to leave and telling them why. Someone needs to call them out on their behavior. I guarantee after I do it, I will get an angry phone call from their mommies and you know what? I can't wait. In fact, I fukking welcome it. Quote
RoyalOrleans Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Half of the damn time heckling rabbles of teens/kids don't know what they are talking about. They pick up talking points from adults, ie teachers and parents/guardians, and spew it forth without certainty. On the other half, you have sh!theels acting out to impress a peer in the hopes of being accepted. The kid(s) associate with a counter-culture in their little school because in a queer sort of way they feel unaccepted or different than their parents/siblings, etc. That said, someone needs to be horsewhipped. Ahhlee Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 Update: Tonight I got a call from my employee that the kid who was driving the truck was at my place of business, so I headed back up to have a little chat with him. When I arrived, I took him aside and told him that I didn't appreciate him harassing my customers by yelling obsceneties at them and even worse, he had no right to insult the brave men and women in the military who protect us. Then I informed him I didn't want to see him or his little buddies at my business again and asked him to leave. I was calm and matter of fact, and the only thing he said to me was "ok" and he left. 15 minutes later, I got a call from his mommy which I knew was coming. She started yelling at me that I had no right to ban her son from my establishment and that I had some nerve accusing him of something he didn't even do. I let her rant on for awhile and I finally said, "Jill, until you are able to teach your son some manners, I don't want to see him here again. End of story." Then she informed me that she, her family, her friends and everyone else she knew would no longer patron my business. "No problem", I replied. (It really isn't. I will be more than fine without them and she really doesn't have any friends to speak of....lol.) In a final act of desperation, she said she would be calling her lawyer. She loves to play this card because the school caved when she threatened them with a lawsuit for not giving her punk ass brat a passing grade in Biology after he didn't turn in any of his work and failed all his tests. "Go right ahead, Jill. That will be your waste of time and money, not mine. Have a good day." Then I hung up on her. I feel victorious. 1 Quote

hugo Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 It is perfectly kosher to insult members of the other branches of the military as long as you are military yourself. What a jackass of a lady, that's why her son is like that. He can do no wrong in his dumbass mother's eyes. If that were my son and he told me that, he would get in even more trouble with me! Quote
eddo Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Good job Ali, You are spot on right! along those same kinda lines: A lady called into the local talk show radio station this morning complaining about her son not having any decent ways to be taught about driving. She wanted something to mount in his car that would basically snitch on him by telling her where he goes, how fast he goes to get there, etc.- because then she could teach him by showing him his screw ups. She then proceeded to tell everyone that he got a speeding ticket and now SHE has to pay his ticket because the school's basic driving class didn't teach her son well enough. Here's a clue lady- make him pay for the school and go and he will learn more than any spying equipment you can put into the car... Quote I'm trusted by more women.
mercury Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 maybe have him pay the ticket and the increased insurance premiums, too. geesh! Quote

Well these "little darlings" are never going to learn any lessons or accountability if they are never made to be responsible nor accountable for their actions. They will continue to act immature and helpless because of it. 1 Quote

Ahhlee Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 I haven't heard a peep from Jill's lawyer which comes as no surprise. And her brother and his family had supper at the restaurant tonight, her co-workers are still having lunch here and her cousin stopped by for ice cream this afternoon. I guess she's not so good at convincing people to join in her boycott. All is well. Quote
emkay64 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Weird.... If I fukked up by running my mouth as a kid...I would never have told my parents. My Dad would have applied the strap. Word got back to my Dad once that my brother was making fun of the handicapped, he was 9...I can still hear that sound. Sickening. Quote
