ImWithStupid Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Union workers would be exempt from Dem health care tax 06/22/09 9:21 PM PDT The best chance for compromise legislation on health care may be a plan under construction in the Senate Finance Committee that would pay for a public plan in part by taxing some worker health benefits. But the union workers who helped Democrats win Congress and the White House and whose support will be key in getting a health bill signed into law would not pay the tax. Union workers would be exempt from Dem health care tax | San Francisco Examiner This is completely a crock of BEEP. This is the most blatant and despicable example of pandering I have ever seen. There's no other way to explain this. Quote
timesjoke Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 You mean other than ignoring contract law and slapping secured loan companies aside to give the UAW a monster sweet deal with Government Motors? Interesting that these guys who had the secured loans were not Democratic voters, lol. This President will go down in history as the most partisan President to ever hold office. Quote
snafu Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I guess my union dues that was donated to Obama's campaign wasn't spent in vain although I wish it was. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's just insane!" Penn & Teller NEVER FORGOTTEN
