Hmmm....

How about showing the after effects of having a baby to girls and guys.

Maybe some high definition shots of stretch marks, stitches, sad girls at the mall with babies and nursing stains on the t-shirt, while the baby daddy works at tubby dog slinging weiners to pay the bills. Going to prom with nursing pads cause your fukking udders are leaking and going home early cause that damn episiotomy isn't healing so great. Maybe some shots of dark circles around the eyes from waking up every 2 frikkin hours (I think they use this as a torture technique in Guantanamo...but women get the added bonus of an inconsolable screaming child). Perhaps some high fashion photos of the maternity clothes you continue to wear afterwards all rolled up like inner tubes at the waist cause there is no time for fun shopping...just quick shopping for diapers and gripe water. Perhaps some photos with audio of the breast pump on one tit and a nursing kid on the other. The hair bun that will never leave an elastic for the first year after birth.

I think a dose of reality is in order...not a fukking cheque! How about a cheque for women opting to stay at home to take care of their kids, or men for that matter. Maybe a cheque for good parenting? Let's bring back the chastity belt or develop a penile plug. I can't believe this is the solution they came up with. Retarded!

Couldn't have said it better!!!

I could have.

I would have spelled "check" like an American. :D

Damn Canadians.

that and I don't like the idea of a penile plug...

A "Cheque" is money....."Check" is a pattern.

Aww Eddo...I think a little male discomfort is in order to save all those poor babies from abortion don't you? It'll be removed when you pass a test qualifying you as a responsible breeder. After you have the one or two children allowed, the plug will be reinserted. There ya go...no unwanted pregnancies. Ooooh and keep in mind...you may not pass the test the first time.

Although on second look... a check for staying home with your kids would be like welfare. Scratch that part. Everyone make your own damn money for your own damn kids and your own damn actions!

Girls should keep their legs closed if they can't handle the responsibilities of kids. Men should keep their dicks in their pants if they can't handle the responsibilities of kids. And parents should be good parents. All 3 because it's what you should do because of the CONSEQUENCES and nothing else!

I disagree with that part. Taking care of kids is a job like any other. That's why you pay daycares etc.

I do agree with the rest though.

Of course it's a job. But the government shouldn't pay anyone to do that. That's what I meant. People should be taking care of their own kids. Whether it's both or one of the parents working.

Agreed...but if they are going to shell out money for being responsible then I think that would be a better cause. It was just an analogy is all lol.

Gotcha!:D <<added for req length>>

Taking care of your own kids is NOT a job. It's a responsibility. Taking care of someone else's kids is a job.

Chi and emkay both seem to agree with a lot of the same policies and beliefs as a woman that they make fun of and claim is an idiot. Don't they? :D

It is a job...that you pay others to do...when you can't. Yes it is a responsibility...that you pay others to do when you can't. I'm taking care of mine just the same as you are taking care of yours. Like any job it has it's perks for sure...but you can't tell me it isn't a job raising your kids.

If your argument is true...you going to work is not a job...but a responsibility to take care of your family. Get down off the soap box IWS...I was making a point. As much as being a parent is rewarding and a responsibility...it is a hell of a job.

Last I checked I never once called SP an idiot....you derived that little gem all on your own.

Nope, not a job and it's my soapbox and I'll do whatever I want with it. :D

I am glad I didn't say that and can just get away with agreeing with you, lol.

There are two very big things I believe most women hate about Sarah, one is she is hot, very hot, way too hot and she makes them look bad because if Sarah can still look hot after several children, all women have the same ability, they just lack the motivation.

Second is she does not support abortion and abortion is the blind banner topic for a lot of women groups, for them if your not a supporter of abortion, they will hate you no matter how many other great qualities you may possess.

Oh, and taking care of your own children is not a job, I see it as a responsibility and a great pleasure in my life. Sure it can test you sometimes but as parents we asked for chilcren, it was something we had a choice over, so why see it as a job?

I don't like Sarah Palin and no way in hell would I ever vote for her. I've already stated my reasons a zillion times before. Certainly not any of the reasons TJ is imagining in his reply.

you just had to go there huh? Still looking down on the women folk every chance you get huh?

I dunno if being a parent qualifies as a job in the classic definition of the word- but it certainly is hard work.

How can you say you wouldn't vote for her in 2012? Isn't that being a bit prejudice? What if she were to cure cancer or something? Would you change your mind then?

And a live in mom or dad is work. It might be a very rewarding job but it's still a job.

Many associate negative things with the word "job". Mostly because they dislike theirs. Jobs can be enjoyable and rewarding. Sorry to say, but by definition being a parent is a job...the only difference is that we don't get paid for it. It's a requirement, a responsibility...whatever you want to call it...they are all synonyms for the word job. I'm not saying anyone should throw cash around like welfare, nor that i think they should be paid. I'm just saying that it's remarkable that they are willing to pay teenagers to be responsible by not getting pregnant but not for being a responsible parent. Just a question of priorities.

As far as Sarah Pahlin is concerned. Nice looking, strong lady with an annoying voice. For all I care, you can all have a nice circle jerk in her honor. I'm not jealous of her, never have been.

You're right. If she changed her stance on a lot of things, I could change my tune. I actually liked her a lot when I first learned of her, when McCain first picked her. But the more I learned about her, heard her annoying voice and her stance and outlooks on things I started disliking her.

Being a mom or dad is as much of a "job" as watching your own kids is "babysitting".

Are you saying parenting is the same as babysitting? I may be misinterpreting your comment. However if that is what you are saying....you just came off sounding like a huuuuuge dick smack! I'll give you a chance to set me straight.

No.

Parenting is to job what watching your own kids is to babysitting.
