Ahhlee Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 The other night, my friends and I were exchanging stalker stories over drinks. I've had a few, but the one I had in college really stands out. Carey was in my advertising class and seemed to be a pretty decent and unassuming guy. One day I had to skip class on account of illness and needed to make up the notes so I called Carey to ask if I could meet him at the student union and copy his. He said that was fine so I got the notes and then chit chatted with him a bit. After that, I said hi to him in class like I ususally did and even walked back to the dorms with him once before summer break. That summer I got my own apartment and stayed in the city. Right before the fall semester started (and in the days before caller ID), Carey called me. He asked how I was doing, what classes I was taking, and some other small talk but suddenly blurted out, "Alicia, I love you." I went into shock and didn't say a word. "I broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years. I told her I couldn't stop thinking about you and wanted to be with you." I was still silent. "I love you, Alicia. Doesn't that mean anything to you?" I finally found my voice and told him I was sorry, but I didn't feel the same and I was already seeing someone. He said it was fine, but I could tell it wasn't fine, and I felt terrible. Two months later a friend called and asked if I'd read the campus paper that day. I hadn't and she said that Carey, who was the editor of the paper, had written a story that I needed to read. It was a "fictional" piece about a girl named "Alisa" who happened to be from the same town I was from. In the story, Alisa was stalked by a very clever serial killer. Eventually she was brutally raped, tortured, sliced up and beheaded. And even though Alisa had begged for her life, "the filthy, cheating whore" was ultimately "and deservedly" destroyed. The killer, needless to say, "got away with murder". Carey was dismissed from his editorial position by the Journalism dean after that stunt. After that, he found out where I worked and called me a few times, telling me that he loved me soooo much. I told him not to call me anymore and hung up on him. Things started getting serious with my boyfriend (soon to be husband) and we usually stayed at his house, but one night we went back to my apartment and he noticed that there were a bunch of gouges and scratches on my front door. It looked like someone had taken a screwdriver or a knife and tried to pry the door open but the deadbolt must have prevented them from gaining access. That was when my boyfriend had enough and told me I was not renewing my lease and we were moving in together....lol. I never did hear from Carey again. .......... Do you have any good stalker stories? Or are YOU a good stalker yourself? 1 Quote
emkay64 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I took a stalking seminar and everything!! However...I failed miserably. Every guy that I've stalked just leaves his key under the mat for me Oh well......c'est la vie. Quote

eddo Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Do you have any good stalker stories? Or are YOU a good stalker yourself? My stalkers have only been online (which has been rather well documented for all to see,) and only been men. dammit.... Quote I'm trusted by more women.
