RoyalOrleans Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Question, why is he known as Ted and not Ed? His name is Edward not Theodore - wth? They called John F. Kennedy "Jack" and "Bill" is a nickname for William Henry Gates, III. Just a nickname. My uncle was named Ulysses and they called him "Billy".
