But you didn't answer the question, did it seem like it was nothing but Florida fans from the very beginning?

That would be Georgia fans, not Florida fans, we tend to go for cousins here, not sisters, but I understand your confusion, your used to what you see in your own circles as normal.........

I like the Chiefs chances with Cassel and the Texans chances with a health Schaub!

How do you think Mizzou will do without Chase Daniel? And what do you think of the Redskins drafting Daniel? Do you think he will get the back up position over Hawaii's former QB Colt Brennan?

So.............. many questions.

I actually like the Texans chances better than the Chiefs this year, I need to check and see how Cassel is doing. I know he went down in the last game

I see Missouri having a bit of a down year (about 7-4). The Big 12 is getting tough. I don't think Chase is really quite big enough to be a pro quarterback nowadays. I am rooting for him though.

I drafted Cassel in the 8th Round in my fantasy league. I hope he can produce like he did last season!

I have the same feelings about Georgia.

Still, I think Chase will be competitive if he makes the team. Darren Sproles, an RB out in SD, is like 5'6 and freaking spry. I realize that QBs are usually over 6', however he might take a defense by surprise... at least at their first meeting.

LaRussa rested most of his regular lineup today. Had Pujois available to pinch hit in the 10th. Game over.

Rightolia sat out the game do to a torn cartilage. Leftina took over at the last quarter to finish the game with a climatic ending.

Not sure if his talent is God given or if his human line evolved from some apes that were damn good with a stick.

The Tigers, supposedly rebuilding, kicked Illinois ass on Saturday. Who knows, they may do better than I expected.

My Dawgs were just piss-poor on Saturday.

Well my Gators had a great scrimmage game where I believe we even asked for volunteers from the stands to play in the fourth quarter, lol.

I think one of the most exciting games in this first week was the Florida State/Miami game, it came down to the last second of the game and a final short pass into the endzone that would give a win, or missing it would be the loss in a game with several lead changes even in the fourth quarter.

The pass was flubbed, thrown into the dirt, 6 inches higher and they would have won, it was an exciting game that kept you on the edge of your seat just knowing the last to score would have the win.

The single most impressive thing to me in the game was the poise of the Miami QB Harris. He is a true Sophmore and is playing better than many seniors, I say this guy will be someone to watch as he develops, another two years should be showing us a very good QB.

I will be watching the USC/Ohio State game next weekend, yes I know that everyone is putting down the Buckeyes because of their barely getting past Navy but I really believe Ohio has more than what we saw in that game and home field advantage will mean more being as USC has not done that well this side of the Mississippi. Their win against Notre Dame in 2005 was based on a fumble, not really a solid win.

Don't get me wrong, I think USC will pull off the win, but some people are trying to say it will be a runaway because of Ohio's trend to choke on the big games, but I think it will be a really good game.

Who do you guys think will be the good games this comming weekend?

1. USC at Ohio State - I don't think it will be a runaway high scoring game against the #8 school in the country, either. I do believe Ohio State will find themselves hard pressed to move the ball against USC. I'm not a huge fan of either school, and I don't want to get into particulars, nevertheless it should be a fantastic game.

2. Notre Dame at Michigan - I hope Michigan creams the snot out of Notre Dame. 'Nuff said!

3. South Carolina at Georgia - This should be an interesting game to watch. South Carolina barely beat NC State and, of course, Georgia did not fare too well against Oklahoma State. I like Georgia over South Carolina because it'll be played at home, Cox should be healthy, and hopefully Sturdevant will be back on the field.

Still can't believe my alumni, University of Houston, beat OK State. Franklin blown two straight saves, 10 games ahead with 20 to go, he's got time to get on track.

What a great fukken game! I like to see the underdogs sneak up on a top ten team and completely rout them! There were a lot of great games on yesterday. I got involved, early on, in the Michigan State and Central Michigan game and then switched between the UCLA at Tennessee game and the Notre Dame at Michigan game.

I was glad to see Tennessee get beat on ol' Rocky Top by a bunch of Left Coasters. I knew Florida would run away with that game against Troy and could say the same for the Alabama game against Florida International. I love to see two SEC teams in the Top Five in the country.

With the exception of Michigan's narrow victory over Notre Dame, it was not a very good day for Big Ten football.

I watched part of the USC at Ohio State game, but was more interested in the game between South Carolina and Georgia. That game came down to the wire and I mean I was on pins and needles! I like to see Steve Spurrier get mad and throw his visor and headphones down. Mark Richt never loses his cool, however he did break character just before the half.

I know my Braves won't make it to the NLCS, but I know St. Louis will be going there. And I am quite positive the Cards will play the Dodgers.

I'd love to see St. Louis take on NYY in the World Series and devastate them in a quick four games.

NYY sucks. So does Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez.

Sorry, Hugo. Steve Slaton was held to 17 yards rushing and 35 yards passing while Andre Johnson was held to only 35 yards. Tight End Owen Daniels had a better day. The Jets defense really showed up today!

Speaking of that, Atlanta's defense surprised me today. I was down on them all preseason, but I do believe that they have who they need in place. As long as we can stay healthy.
