mercury Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I know Gemini is supposed to be one of them, Chi. But my dad was a Libra and we were like fire & gasoline. google free astrology charts, TJ... you should find one that will give you a lengthy report. Have your birth date, city you were born in and time you were born ready. My chart is really full of Gemini & Mercury stuff. Gemini with Virgo Rising. Born on a Wednesday (Weds is ruled by Mercury). Not sure off the top of my head whats in all my houses, but I know there's nothing in my 10th house.... whatever that is. Quote
Ahhlee Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 So who are Libras supposedly compatible with? Romantically & in general? Also, what are the general personality traits of Libras according to Astrology? Libras are friendly, smart, balanced and often take a keen interest in beauty and aesthetics, but they are often indecisive and a bit wishy-washy. Good combinations are usually other air signs, like Aquarius and Gemini, but sometimes those relationships can become too cerebral. Fire signs are good for passion, but you run the risk of getting burned. Earth signs are sensuous, but can sometimes be too stagnant and boring. Water signs and air signs usually clash. That's been my experience, anyway. Quote
Ahhlee Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Ali, where do you get that stuff about house of this or that? I am curious now to see what astrology says about me, I am pretty skeptical but hey, new experiences and all that. I like astro.com, but I supplement it with my astrology books. I think it's a fascinating subject and always enjoy learning more about it. google free astrology charts, TJ... you should find one that will give you a lengthy report. Ahhlee Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 One of my party tricks is that I can usually, within 1-3 guesses, know what sign a new person I meet is. It's a fun way to break the ice. Quote
timesjoke Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Well I just did one and it seemed pretty good in some areas and not in others, I would paste it all here but it looks too long, maybe just the short results, Ali, you tell me the important ones Rising Sign is in 08 Degrees Leo Sun is in 22 Degrees Virgo. Moon is in 12 Degrees Taurus. Mercury is in 11 Degrees Virgo. Venus is in 01 Degrees Scorpio. Mars is in 16 Degrees Scorpio. Jupiter is in 29 Degrees Gemini. Saturn is in 13 Degrees Pisces. Uranus is in 15 Degrees Virgo. Neptune is in 17 Degrees Scorpio. Pluto is in 16 Degrees Virgo. N. Node is in 07 Degrees Gemini. So am I a reasonable creation out of my parts or something different, lol. Quote
mercury Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 The 10th house rules social status and ambition, motivation and careers. Well that certainly explains a lot Quote

So am I a reasonable creation out of my parts or something different, lol. You should give me your House positions, too and I'll highlight the more interesting points. I'm honestly not surprised that Leo is your rising sign, however...LOL! The rising sign represents the self we show to others and you are, on the boards anyway, a bit of a puffer who likes to have his ego indulged. Your sun in Virgo does make you inquisitive and want to scope out all the options before making a conclusion but Virgos have a tendancy to focus on the dark side of the coin a lot. And I think we are all indeed a sum of all our parts. Going by one's sun sign only doesn't do astrology justice. There are layers upon layers of influences the stars and planets hold upon us and it's kind of fun to dig through them and see what you find! Quote
Ahhlee Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Well that certainly explains a lot LMAO!!!! Oh, that just leaves that much more of yourself to invest in your house of Home and Family. Quote
timesjoke Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 The one I did didn't give houses but it offered me a "full report" for $25, lol. I got this cool picture though: . Quote
Ahhlee Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Yeah, that's a cool chart but it doesn't help me much. I'm still a novice and need the house list. Go to your Personal Portrait and when you scroll down there should be a short list titled "House Positions". That's what I'm looking for. Quote
hugo Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 RO informed me he is also a Taurus. I always thought we had a bit in common, besides the fact that he is younger, smarter and better looking. Old Salt Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I'm a Scorpio. Wife is a Taurus (I think - May 15) and her daughter is a Scorpio. From what little I understand about the relationship of signs and relationships, all I can say is "I pity my wife". 1 Quote

If you would like a pic of your future self send $19.99 to Hugo the Psychic, PO Box 6969, Heck, TX 66666. I promise most of the photos will not be as depressing as Chi's. Chi Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Hugo is not the only one with this gift. Here is a picture of Hugo in 10 years. Unfortunately, he will be 99 years of age by then, so: Good news is he will manage to snag Walter Williams within that time and get hitched in Vermont. He will enjoy many years of open marital bliss with Mr. Williams and the sheep before he perishes, so no worries. 1 Quote
