snafu Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Well I just got up and posted a comment on the opposition thread. Turned on Fox News but I think I'm gonna watch Mel Gibson in "We Were Soldiers". It's been doing this dribble misty kind of rain since yesterday so going to Whittier to scout out some potently good shrimp spots is out of the question. I don't have a cool 26 or so footer with a comfortable cabin type boat so I'm limited to good weather. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. eddo Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 got up early this morning and filled in some holes in the backyard that my dog Buffy used to dig. She was always digging holes to makes herself these comfy dirt lounges out of. Used to drive me nutty, lol. I miss her. Quote I'm trusted by more women.
Ahhlee Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 got up early this morning and filled in some holes in the backyard that my dog Buffy used to dig. She was always digging holes to makes herself these comfy dirt lounges out of. Used to drive me nutty, lol. I miss her. Awwwww..... hugs eddo. I've been cleaning, washing clothes and doing some other mundane chores this morning. In the background I have on a mixed cd that a friend made for me, which I like. She has good taste in music! Harvest is still in full swing and grain dust and other particles are permeating the air, so my hay fever is in full force. My throat is a bit sore so I have that raspy/husky voice going on. I sound like a 68 year old man who just smoked a pack of cigarettes.....sexy, right? One sh!tty thing about harvest is nobody is free to do anything! I'm in the process of trying to rally the troops to head up north later tonight to the 109 Club and then to a crazy little bar that sits about a 1/2 mile from the Canadian border. We always have a good time up there and I'm definitely in the mood to have a good time! And right now, I think a little ganja action sounds reeaaaaaaaaal good. (Please note that anything I type from 3:00 PM (CST) until tomorrow morning should be completely disregarded as I will be completely stoned.....thank you.) Quote

Ahhlee Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Went out last night and had way more fun than a person should have the right to! Hehe. I'm just now getting over my hangover. Vikings won in an amazing game today. I am happy! The wind is gusting about 40 mph outside and it is cloudy and cold. Fall is definitely in the air and the leaves are starting to turn colors and drop. I should take some pictures! I don't know what I want for supper. Nothing sounds good. And now I'm off to tackle some projects. Quote

Ahhlee Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 It's cold and windy here yet. The windchill right now is 31 degrees and our high won't be more than 52 today. I can't decide if I should put the epoxy clear coat on the floor at the business today or if I should wait until tomorrow when the ambient temp is a bit warmer...hmmmmm. I'm also drinking a glass of orange juice and Cheech and Chong's version of "The Corsican Brothers" is currently on my tv. Don't ask me why. Ohhhhhh, and a new season of "Family Guy" started last night!!!!! Heaven. Quote
eddo Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I am debating whether or not to go check out this puppy: . She's a cutie, and in the "young" catergory- but this weekend I will be gone, so I hate to get a puppy and then dump her at my parents house for the weekend... Quote I'm trusted by more women.
